Default argh! measurements :(

you know how time just flies by when you dont want it to - such as summer is fast approaching and you want the weeks to go by slow in hopes of you getting your bum in gear and finally losing the weight - but then when you finally do so time seems to drag on? Ok so maybe i am super happy about my loss and i just want next monday to get here asap so i can see how i am doing becasue i measured my self and the measurements havent changed yet so even though the scale moved i dont really feel like i have made progress - argh!

Well, how are your clothes fitting, sweetie? We aren't always completely consistent as to where and/or how tightly we hold the measuring tape, so you can't go completely by that, either.

The most important thing is how you feel...and also that you not give up. *hugs*

Just give it some time. I know its hard to be patient, but it takes a while to lose no matter what plan your on. There will be ups and downs and stalls. You just have to keep going and you will reach your goal.

Keep in mind also that you might not lose weight in the places you want to at first. I lost most of my weight from the upper half of my body first (and of course as a girl I'm focused on wanting fat off of my hips/thighs/stomach). I didn't even notice until after I'd lost about 25 pounds that I was smaller and I didn't drop a pants size (and fit into them comfortably) until almost 30 pounds lost. My pants are feeling looser and looser now, and I'm finally noticing the bottom half of me slimming down--but my body took the weight off the top first (dropped a cup size and a shirt size).

So don't be discouraged if you don't feel like you're seeing something immediately. You ARE making changes!

You are worrying way too much.

Just listen to your body, you know whats right for it
