Hi all. I'm new at this LAWL thing and am hoping it works for me. I joined on May 25 and so far have really done well with it. Of course, I haven't really had any cheats yet and am trying to be good and stay on plan. I'm glad I found this board (I was at work and supposed to be acting busy) and look forward to making great friends who know what it is like to struggle with your diet and weight. Anyway, just wanted to say "Hi".
There's a daily thread where most of the chatter is. Feel free to pop in anywhere and talk, ask questions, whatever. This has been a great supportive group!

Welcome! I have been on LAWL (Gold Plan) for 38 days and coming to this site has been as helpful to me as going to my center! It is so nice to "communicate" with others who are doing the same plan!
I've been lurking for a couple of days and have been tickled to read some of your stories! It makes me excited to finally be a forum member! You are all so motivating!!! I'm a "restart" at my center and am really lucky to have great counselors. I am such the emotional eater! I know I will be successful and lose the 34 lbs that need to go. It's all about the mindset!

I have come to depend on the support here so much that when I feel like I just can't (or don't want to) do this anymore...I get on here and I'm picked right back up by everyone here who is going through the exact same ups and downs as I am.
Hi everyone I am a newbie also. I have been with LAWL since February and I love everyone's wonderful ideas and advice. How do you find the daily chatter thread that everyone is talking about?
Welcome Laurie and the other newbies. I have only been on LAWL and this board for a couple of weeks, but it has made all the difference. The wonderful recipes and support, encouragement, and advice has been awesome.
Thanks to all for the warm welcome!! I've visited the recipe boards and have gotten some good ones to try in the coming weeks. That should make it a lot easier to stay on plan and not get bored. And welcome to all the other newbies.
