Honestly you have done fantastic so far!! You are averaging just about 1.5 lbs. per week, which is a very healthy loss rate. 9.8 lbs. gone is a huge win in my books. The lower your weight or the less you have to lose, the slower it will come off. Also the slower you take it off, the more likely you are to keep it off. So have patience and relish in the fact that you are doing wonderful things for your body by eating so much healthier.

I agree. You only have 30lb to lose, so you are about 1/3 there! 1.5 a week for your height/weight is AWESOME! Remember this is the healthy, real way to lose weight. Just keep it up girl!

Naomi, 9.8 pounds rocks!! Hang in there! Sometimes, it takes our body awhile to adjust to our new way of eating. The weight will come off. And it is true, with less weight to lose, it will come of slower than it does for someone who weighs more. When I first started LAWL, I was losing weight like crazy. Then, once I got to about 175, the weight came off much slower, and it is very frustrating. Especially for us short people. Every pound we gain looks more like 5, but that also works for losing them too! Just remember what you've accomplished! You are doing great!

Thanks Ladies, I was just really hoping to be one of those I lost 30 pounds and 3 dress sizes in 8 weeks people. I don't have the money to stay joined up once my 8 weeks is done so I have 2 or 3 more weeks and that is it I am done with the center.

Naomi - You've done great so far! Alot of people on the boards are doing this on their own, with the support of the boards. So when your weeks are up at the center, keep that in mind.

Sure WOULD be nice to be one of those who lose umpteen zillions of pounds and inches in seconds........I'm not one of those either. I'm on my 23rd week and do the "average" of 1-2 pounds, except for last couple weeks where I lose and relose the same 5 pounds...ugh.

I've seen several who aren't doing the WI's at LAWL, and/or not doing their bars -- you have their plan, so just keep with that! You can do up your own diary or buy one and set it up like the LAWL one.

Keep on keeping on Naomi!!!

thanks guys I will keep going with the support here for sure, it seems great, way better than having to drive all the way into town to meet with the commissioned sales people I won't even qualify to extend my weeks for not meeting the guaranteed goal because I can only get in to the center once a week not three times.

On a side note at my heaviest (1 year ago exactly) I was 172, somehow managed to lose some pounds but need the extra help and joined LAWL in May this year for the 8 week accelerated program that includes lites and FB500 and Trimax.
