When I got my driver's license at seventeen, I claimed to weigh 135. At the time, I think I was a pound or two shy of it. Each time I renewed my license in the many years since then, I still claimed to be 135. Fortunately, those kind souls who processed my paperwork gave me an "oh, please" look, but didn't make me admit to the real number.
Imagine my surprise this morning when almost 23 years later, I'm at 135 and in better shape than I was then!
SWEET!
I couldn't have done it without the wonderful women on the board. Thanks to everyone!
Congrats, what a great feeling that must be! My goal weight is also what I have on my drivers license, and it dates from about the same time frame. I'm not there yet, but it's great to read your story and know that it's possible to turn that lie of a number on the license into the truth.
Thanks so much for the kind words everyone. I have to be honest and say this is the only place I feel comfortable asking questions, talking about what I'm doing, and celebrating with the "happy dance"!
What a great feeling. I get my liscense updated about every 6 months. Every time i get a new one, i get a new pic, and i change my weight to about 10 pounds less than what i really weigh. I finally chnaged it when i realized i was 196 and my id said 130. Figured at the time, i was never going to see that again and it was time to quit lying. So, i told them i was 180. Now, my liscense says 160. I will need to go get a new one soon, now that i am 157. I'll probably wait until i color my hair again. shouldn't be too long now!! lol!!!
Anyways, congrats on the awesome job. Keep up the great work!!!!
I'm three pounds less than what my license says and I can't WAIT until I'll never see the number on the license again. At the time it was a complete lie (I topped out at 30lbs over the license number). Now it'll be a lie in the other way.
I'll be kicking and screaming when I have to get my license redone! Honestly, it's one of the best pictures I've ever taken! How about that for ironic?!?
Fantastic job!!! I'll admit mine says I weigh 150 when I'm sure I weighed at least 20 more than that...I havent had to renew yet....so hopefully I can get it down by then!! keep up the good work!!!
