Default Green Olives (question)

I love green olives but they're so dang salty!

Is there a brand of green olives out there that don't knock you over with the salty flavor? I've never seen low sodium green olives and I'm guessing they probably don't exist. But have you found a green olive that doesn't taste quite as salty as most?

Mmmmm. I love the salty

They're packed in oily brine, aren't they? Have you tried just rinsing them under the tap?

Hmm, that might be an idea. Haven't tried that. Maybe it will reduce the saltiness a little bit.

Thanks, I'll try that and see if it helps

My mother does that sometimes, rinses them. Actually, she lets em soak in water for a while. She does this with the black olives, too. If she serves them to me after that, I end up sprinkling salt back on.

This company makes a low sodium green olive! They are wonderful but you may feel that there is something missing (the salt! ).

Thanks

Oh my gosh! I just went and looked at the site and this is the brand of olives I bought today. I don't think they're the low sodium, but I got the garlic stuffed olives and oh my, are they good.
