Default Is this stuff for real?

WU-Yi tea or sometimes called WU-Long tea (google if not sure what I mean) , its supposedly featured on Oprah, Rachel Ray and some other places and its hard to tell if its true or not. It boasts amazing weight loss characteristics, anti aging, and all kids of other things. Hard to tell. Need to know if anyone out there has any information so that I dont waste more money on scams.

These are brand names for oolong tea.

It has been shown to have a weight loss benefit similar to that of green tea - something like, people who drank four cups a day for a year wound up losing 4 pounds more than those who didn't drink the tea.

It's probably good enough for you, but no weight loss miracle!

Any tea is good for you, especially white and green teas. They have a minor metabolic boost, very minor. Tea does have great antioxidants though.

Any of the teas not herbal, green, black ect are from the same plant and are very good for you. If you read superfoods rx by steven pratt he explains that and why it is good for you (thank you whole foods group for the recommendation on that book!) he goes into detail on why its good for you and all the health benefits you would get from drinking it. He also explains 13 of the other best foods out there and why you should eat them.

Sort of along the same brain waves here. I've heard that adding milk to tea cancels out any benefits you'd get from the tea without milk.

My fiance wont have tea without milk and sugar, and gives me a "disgusted" look whenever I ask for no milk in my tea.
