I had joined the gym earlier this year then go sidetracked b/c of a visit to ER and a couple of elective surgeries that came one after another due to vagaries of waiting lists and the like.
Really threw the whole exercise off track. I have "frozen" the gym membership for the time being and wanted to start walking first just to get my body used to the idea of moving again.
Did a little walk yesterday - got hubby todrop me at the far side of the parking lot when I went for a check-up.
Walked to the library and back today, not sure how far it is in distance book took maybe 10 minutes there and back. Then I ambled across the parking lot to check out the yard sale at the church next door.
I'm so happy to be moving again. It's a sign of hope for me that I can get back to the gym before too long and resume my fitness efforts!
