Default low carb suggestions

hi guys i'm going low carb and i just want to run some meal ideas past you.

Breakfast.
1 sausage grilled
2 rashes of grilled bacon
2 poached egg
Handful of fried mushrooms
and 5g of Goji Berries

mid morning some chicken and cheese dunkers. Slice up a few strips of cheddar cheese, wrap in waffer thing chicken and dunk in Helmans Mayo. (heaven!)

lunch i'm thinking tuna mayo with some carmelised chilies and spring onions and steamed asparagus tips

snack. hand full of peanuts and cup of green tea.
Dinner.

mince beef or thin strips of grilled steak.
with a stir fry type thing of

1 chopped tomato, 1/2 an onion, some diced peppers, and boiled leeks with spinach.

i do like the occasional tall glass of Ribena black current but its about 3g of carb per half pint

any suggestions and yes i do like my hot and spicy food

I'm guessing you're either not doing Atkins or not on the induction phase because the berries and nuts would kill that. It all looks delicious!!

What's your favorite hot pepper?

the berries only require 5grams a day which give around 3.5g of carbs which for the nutritional content of them is an easy sacrifice to make. i'm keeping my carbs under 20g a day for about 2 weeks which i think is inline with the atkins induction phase, but i'm not to fussy about it. its kinda self researched project as part of my degree so i'm trying it out

Looks good.

IMHO, one thing to watch out for (if you start gaining or not losing) is your calories. Also make sure you are eating lean meats and not fatty ones regardless of what LC plan you are following.

GOOD LUCK !!!!
