Easy Quick Breakfasts
Hello All,
I am new to this forum, but am getting desperate with breakfasts. I am sick of the half bagel and yogurt for breakfast. Any suggestions? The faster and the least prep time, the better. I am able to prep the night before, just no time in the morning to prepare a full breakfast.
Thanks in advance!
Amy

This might not fit your criteria for 'fast'... I eat oatmeal for breakfast a lot. And - inspired by making my daughter's baby food - I often take 1/2 of a banana, and mash it with a fork until it's nice and liquidy, and I reduce the amount of water a tiny bit in the oatmeal, and then mix in the mashed banana - and sometimes a dash of nutmeg. It tastes like banana-nut bread oatmeal, without all the sugar. I plan to try this idea with other pureed fruits, since I have lots leftover in the freezer that my daughter no longer wants!

Thanks Cassi! These threads, forums, posts, etc. get a little confusing!

Hi Amy,
Here are a few of my usuals:
3/4 c Kashi cereal with skim milk, sometimes with fruit added
Apple with one wedge of original lite Laughing Cow cheese
One of those little individual containers of cottage cheese with some fruit
JetStart drink (for those not in the plan, it's an LAWL thing )
Banana with peanut butter
Hope this helps!

I like to have a slice of toast with cream cheese and strawberry jelly, along with some sort of fruit - usually raisins or grapefruit juice.

Slim Fast, like LA Slim Down, counts as 1P and 1S

I like to have a starch in the morning...so I might have something like 1 four inch pita (1 Starch) with 1 tbsp regular cream cheese (1 Fat) or if you want to get a protein in there too...put peanut butter, and if you want fruit, a pita with PB and 1/2 banana is yummy and super filling. Which colour plan are you on?

My favorite breakfast is 1 sheet of Reduced Fat Graham Crackers (Honey Maid - Honey); 2 T. Raisins; 3 T. Reduced Fat Peanut Butter and 8 oz. skim milk - Not only does it fill me up...but it knocks out a lot of my things I don't like very much (dairy & starches) -
Hope this helps!
Rebecca

Thank you to all! I am currently on the Gold plan but am seriously considering returning to the Blue Plan, where I lost the majority of my weight the first time...
