Default Thank Goodness for 3FC's!!

I have to admit, I have been in a slump. I haven't been exercising regularly, my food intake has been less than healthy and I've basically just been feeling "blah". I've gained about seven or eight pounds and have noone to blame but myself... but I'm not seeking pity. I'm owning up to what went wrong and after coming back here last night, reading on the wonderful progress many of you have made my motivation has been jumpstarted. It's so easy to fall back into the pattern of overeating and decreased activity but not giving up and getting back in the swing of things after a backslide is the difference between failure and success and that's exactly what i plan on doing. It's not easy, and it's always a work in progress but after reading the success stories of people just like myself I know it's achievable!

It really sounds like you are taking responsibility and owning up to the fact that you may have caused your weight gain. I think that is an awesome, awesome step. You certainly can not change what you don't acknowledge and you ARE acknowledging it. It is all too easy to fall back into old habits. Don't we all know it? It sounds like you are ready, willing and able to get back into the swing of things. Keep reading and posting here. It is a great motivator and a great way to keep ourselves aware of just what needs to be done. Good luck!!!

Alora, WTG on getting back on track and welcome back. I had the same thing happen to me recently. Had gotten a little too lax with my food and exercise and quickly was up 5 lbs. I admitted that I was having a problem and received a lot of support. I'm now back on track and 3 of those 5 lbs. are gone. I'll always be a work in progress, but I'm not a quitter. You really should commend yourself on being accountable and catching it this earlly. Good luck, I know you can do it. Hugs.
