Arrow when its ok to...

I started dieting on Saturday, and I'd being doing some work around the house, laundry, cleaning and things like that. Parking away so I can walk to get somewhere, thats the only exercise I've being doing.

Why?, because someone told me not to do some hard work immediately,
I'm planning to start doing little cardio next week increasing minutes each day and then by go to a gym in sept...

That's ok??? or When is ok to start exercising?

I supposed to weight in next Saturday, I did peak on my scale at home and I'd loose few pounds...

I don't understand why you can't start exercising now. What diet are you following?

Anyone at any weight should and can start exercising right NOW! (Unless of course there is some sort of health or physical impediment.....)

I don't understand why that person said that. It doesn't make sense to me!

You can and should start exercising now for health reasons alone. Exercise should be done for it's sake alone........ weight loss is just a side benefit!

Exercise can be started as soon as you want to. Of course you wouldnt go overboard right away, but if you are doing chores and walking, etc anyway, you aren't shocking your body by increasing your heart rate a bit on a machine. Interval training would be a great way to start, or do a dance class. Just a thought.

Congrats on starting toward your goals!

Have you every tried tracking your activity levels on something like fitday.com or ***********.com? I am not suggesting anything obsessive, but I know that for a long time I seriously overestimated how active I was and how much food I needed each day just to maintain. Never mind what I should have been eating to lose weight. Plugging into those programs the activities you are doing (that are more than you would normally have done in the past) will give you a true picture of what your body needs each day.
And yes, unless you have medical issues and your doctor has told you to go very slow -- moving your body makes a huge difference in how you feel. You will start to love it, even if all you do at first is walk around the block. Our bodies are designed to be moving.

The diet I'm doing (SureSlim) my weight loss person told me the same thing. I looked straight at her and said "Are you seriously telling me not to exercise?" She fell over herself to say no, but she had meant that.

Basiclly, start now. Going in slow is the right thing to do.

I started dieting a week ago and actually just started exercising today. I felt that tackling healthy eating habits alone is a HUGE challenge so I started out with that, then when I felt I had it under control I started working out.
Im really glad I waited because I got to take baby steps and not overload myself all at once.
Really, it's up to you when you want to start working out. If you feel like you need more time to tackle food issues, then wait. But if you're ready for the challenge, then start now! Just slowly build up the intensity of your workouts. That's what I am going to do.

But really, you can exercise whenever you want. There is no waiting period!

Thanks for your replies, eventually next week I'm starting cardio by stationary bicycle, jumping rope and walking different days not to get bored.
I'm on WW on the Core Plan.
It was good to wait because only for the change of habitual food intake I loose some pounds on my unofficial scale I'm 202.1, but I know in a few weeks my body its going to get comfortable with the new diet and that loosing weight part its going to slow down, and then with cardio and increasing body activity going to maintain the burning fat process and getting healthier.

That makes sense???
