Hello All

I'm off work today and thought I would play "catch-up". I have 2 personal days left and if I don't use them, I lose them. But I am working a private party tonight at the stadium (where I work during ball games). Check-in time is 4:30.

Last night we went to the rehab to see MIL. It was her birthday. Honestly, she looked better then she did Tuesday night. She stayed awake more and smiled so much because the whole family was there at once. Bless her heart. FIL isn't doing well.He goes to the doctor today. I have a feeling they will keep him.

Hello to anyone I missed Sorry if I did.

I'm down 3 lbs. this week! For a total of 23.8!! I think this time I "got it" on how to eat right.

I had "another" doctors appt. this past Monday morning before work. My bladder is no better (2 months now). There is more contaminated bacteria and more blood in my urine. After 3 antibotics, she's finally sending me to Urologist.I go on the 30th @ 3:30.

Janice ~ You are really on a roll! I can't eat much salad...lettuce really upsets my stomach, so will have to substitute with plain fruits and veggies. Really if I can just lay off the cookies and bread I would be ok. When I first started on this diet adventure I loosely followed Dr. Phil's diet which is sort of low carb and low calorie. I think I'll get that book back out and follow that menu for a week or so and see if I can't get the scales moving in the right direction again. I tried on a pair of capris this morning that I wore last summer and I couldn't get them buttoned...if that isn't incentive to get moving then I don't know what is! I can't believe I let all this weight come back on!

Sherry ~ Good luck with the appointment with the urologist...I hope he can figure out what the problem is.

You girls have me thinking to try low carb again to jump start my diet. Janice, do you eat alot of veggies? That is why I couldn't do low carb before, I love my fruits/veggies and didn't want to give them up during induction.

I think Sher & Dee asked about the dress? I ordered...it arrived...I loved the style...it fit! Now, for the rest of the story... It had the separate under layer then the top lacy layer, wearing both layers, on could see straight through it! Even with a full slip, I probably would of shown more then I desired. The workmanship was horrible, loose threads, beads etc. The neckline, hem and sleeve area wasn't even turned under and hemmed, it was raw edges! I returned it because of the poor quality, I couldn't believe they would sell such a thing. I found a cute top & skirt at Penney's, not as dressy and it is black with ivory inset, I hope it looks ok for a wedding.

I just returned from picking up the cake and corsage for the shower in the afternoon tomorrow. We will be having the bachelorette party the 5th of May. I hope they get married soon, I'm going broke! LOL!

We are invited to a potluck dinner tonight at the facility where I have the beauty shop. It is for residents, staff and families. It will be nice to go and introduce Steve to some of the people I talk about at home at the end of the day.

Sorry if I'm not posting more, I came down with the KRUD (allergies) a few days ago and I feel crappy. Hopefully, I only have a few more days of the junk.

Sherry-If you were off yesterday, you weren't involved in all the scuttlebutt in the schools. We had a high school dismiss very early because of shooting rumors, a middle school have a bomb threat, and numerous other happenings yesterday.

Serving at the rehersal dinner was fun. The wedding is tonight. I will be glad when it's over, since I don't do well mingling.

Gayle-I'm glad you were able to find a dress to replace the one you ordered. You were very lucky!

Have any of you heard about PB2? I bought one jar from someone on the WW boards. I haven't mixed it up, but I did taste a bit. If none of you have heard about it www.bellplantation.com sells it.

It's fine with us with my parents here. My mom was crying this morning because she thinks they are invading us, but they aren't. I guess it was dark and she went to the kitchen and the dog started barking, so she thought she woke Mike up, when actually he barely sleeps during the night anyone because of his neck pain. He told her she didn't and she feels much better about it. They haven't even starting working on the place yet. We don't know when the mold people are going to start.

I worked Friday night at a private party. I also worked last night. Didn't get home until 1:15am! So tired and sore!! It was a party for Oasis and Wynonna,Patty DeBell & Jennifer Hudson sang. Wynonna sure puts on a great concert.

My FIL was admitted to the hospital late yesterday afternoon. Please keep him in your prayers. I'm going to do some laundry,get dressed and visit FIL & MIL today.

she was so upset by the tragedy.

sounds like you have been busy,busy,busy!
how is wayne?
my mom has been in a rehab since nov.
as you know she was having trouble walking and she kept falling,so they'd put her into a hospital she'd come home then fall and repeat the process.
it was so upsetting and frusterating at the same time!
she was admitted in nov. to a nursing home rehab.noone knew what was wrong with her,finaly she asked for a mri which her family dr. denied saying it was her fault for being fat and lazy and having a lotolerance for pain and she needed to destine herself to a wheelchair.
well the dr. at the home requested the mri and she had it ,it showed her knee was displaced and the kneecap was to the side of her leg,so feb 19th she had knee rep[lacement surgery and was released yesterday!
she is still on a walker but progressing fine.
her being in there for sooooo long took its toll on my dad man hes lost so much weight,
ive been there for him but still.
yes me and brian are together i wont go there!

yes me and the friend are together to,but he had realy bad news he has to have a doble lung transplant as when he was working with the lumber on the saws he inhaled sawdust over the yrs and no his lungs are deteriotating sp?
he is on oxygen but is still there for me.

i took classes at the y but when they closed i bout rania and sandahls videos love em
do practice everyday.
i also do core rythems its exercise dancing but has some great bellydance moves ive lost 3 inches from waist doing them!
on the firm ya-yas i was looking at vids n dvd's on the swapmeet and seen there are 4 more of the core rtythems i know im not spelling it rite lol
i didnt even know bout they were 29.99 a piece but the gal let me have em for 50.00 a bargain for sure!
so i got the m/o out yesterday cant wait for em!
i was in k-mart fri and seen the dancing with the sars dvd ok had to have that one it looks like a fun workout i previewed it but havent done yet.
so im building my dance dvds up
my mom back in the day was heavy and when my dad went to work she stack up records and dance for hours she lost 100 pounds back then!
i love it makes me feel sexy and gives me more flexabilty in my back.

Doni-You look great! So sad about your friend. I have been wondering what went on with that. Is Brian treating you any better, and is he still drinking? My parents have the mold problem in their condo of 2 years old. Since they have been in the house, we have never had so many phone calls! They have so many people from the synogogue calling them. Hey, I think my Patty looks like Chelsea too. I can't wait to see a picture of Cat.

We had a fabulous weekend. The weather was so warm. Had a BBQ for Doug's BD. I had steak and caesar salad. Didn't have cake, potato salad or buns. He had a great time.
He has been a bear to live with since Sheba bit him a week and a half ago. Finally got him to go to the doc las Thursday. He put him on antibiotics - doing better now. Even talking to the dog again.
The guys where he works put up a banner in the lunchroom that said "Happy Birthday DOG" he said - you spelled my name wrong (Doug) then he got the joke.

Hi to everyone! Sorry I can post more often, things are just nuts around here, end of the semester and so forth.

I am going to teach 2 and maybe 3 labs this summer, at school, so things won't be calming down anytime soon! (But my wallet is thrilled I will be doing it!!) Also, trying to get the applications done for the library science degree program.
Tomorrow my Mom is having back surgery, so will be heading there. Leaving here at 4AM to get there by 6 to see her before she goes in. Then staying for some time, no idea how long until I see how she is doing.
Then in May, Rob's Mom is having a hip replacement, so will be busy with that as well!
Best news, I lost a pound this week at WW! Thrilled about that!

I got my paper back yesterday. I made a B+ on it, which does not make me happy, but I'll take it. I'm just so glad class is OVER. I turned in my final. Next week is actually the last day of class, but he let us turn in our finals on dead day so we (and HE) could start our summers early. I can't imagine not having finals until June!!

Found out last night that my 15-year-old niece used drugs at a party. She doesn't even know what they were. Could be meth, could be crack. Waiting on the test results from the hospital to find out. I'm guessing it's meth, because it's the more prevelant where we live. What kind of sick, twisted, pervert gives drugs to a group of 15-year-old girls. I'd like to kick his or her sorry ***.

Anyway, I hope the rest of you are doing better than me today.
