I don't know any Jews - just the ones from the bible I love how Jews take traditions so seriously. There is something special about traditions

Happy Easter all! He is risen indeed!

It is so disastorous to celebrate both! Hahahaha. You can rationalize that Easter is *not* about food... but Passover? Get out! You sit at a table and eat for 4 hours. Thanks for the wishes! Ya'll have great holidays too.

Apryl, I don't celebrate both, as I believe Jesus is the messiah. However, no matter what the holiday is, I think we can center it on other things besides food! Definitely got to watch out for those days that seem to have nothing but food all around! LOL!

My point was that Passover is literally about eating... the ceremony, the seder, is a sectioned plate, and you eat the different symbolic foods. Not to mention the 4 glasses of wine. To my knowledge, there aren't any Christian holidays where eating is central to every single person's celebration of it. But you're right... there are always many other things to do. I love any reason to see family and friends. Happy Easter to you, Ritzy!

I guess in this case (the passover) one would have to either go sparingly the few days prior to and the few days after or go sparingly on the food they eat for passover (if that is possible).

Thanks for the Easter wishes, Apryl!

Edited to say: I might add - I think it is wonderful to remember the Exodus! In fact, I parallel that story very closely with my Christian belief. I just don't want to sound against it or those who celebrate it.
