Not quite sure if this is working or not, I don't know where my original post went!

I have asked Suzanne to look and see what happened to the original post. Don't post here yet until it is sorted out. I may have to just do a whole nother thread.

Here is the link to the original post. Also Big thanks. Your challenge was THE ONLY thing that got me out of bed at 5am to workout this morning.

No, I had another post from when I started this thread but somehow it got lost in cyber space. Oh well. Anyway very pleased that we made it. Thanks to all who participated, Misty, Marion, Luflic, myself and special thanks to Obie who I think did half of the walk by herself!

I don't mind starting up another walk if we are going to have more than one or 2 participating because I think in the past month it was just me and Obie. Any takers?

Basically we pick 2 cities, for the first one obviously NY and LA. I looked up how many miles it is between these 2 places. Every minute of exercise equals one mile. Post whenever you exercise and subtract the number of minutes you did from the previous posters total and the next person will subtract their minutes from your total and so on until we get down to 0. It took slightly less than 2 months for us to cover that distance.

I will try my best. Now that spring is here I can maybe walk at work. There is no way I can add working out to my morning, but perhaps my evening. Well maybe I could squeeze in some time in the am. I turned 30 last Wednesday on the 21st. Here I am...30 and fat, everything I was dreading...though I didn't do much about it.

Hmmmm a city. NY to La was a great idea...should we go outside the US? We could do Canada since that is where Jen lives. What are the two east west cities in Canada?

Or since we did east west maybe we could do North SOuth...but that isn't as far.

Point Barrow Alaska is the most Northern point in the USA, but Barrow Alasaka is the Northern most town
Ka Lae Hawii is the Sounthern most point and one source says Naalehu, Hawaii is the southern most town and another says Hilo, Hawii and lists the other as a settlement. Hmmm I always thought it was Keywest...they have a big Bouy with Southern Most point or something painted on it.

Or maybe we could do the cities where we live. From Genesee, PA to Ontario to NY/NJ ect. or something?

Hi there. Just to let everyone know that I'm not going to organize another walk. We've got like what 3 or 4 people interested? Seems like it would take too long to hold the interest. If anyone else wants to take over please do.

I'd be happy to participate, but I haven't gotten a ton of exercise in lately. I'm afraid that I wouldn't be too much help. But, if anyone would like to organize the walk, I'll pitch in a few miles.
