I am new to this diet (started yesterday) and I feel like I am starting to cave. I had a bad headache yesterday and felt like I was starving all day although I had eaten everything on the plan. After eating a lot of chicken and steak yesterday I was wondering if I can have a Pork Chop? I didnt see it listed but was wondering why not?
Also besides celery sticks and brocolli any suggestions on the raw green vegetable part. I like salads but only with salad dressing. Can I buy some fat free?
Are you doing Fast Forward? You should have gotten a paper with information on it. You can cook all of your foods with unlimited fat and use regular salad dressing - For these two days only!
Your list should say you can have pork tenderloin. Although this and beef are "heavier" proteins and may not give you a great loss during these two days.
Hey, welcome to the plan. I'm on Gold also, and I eat pork chops all the time... in the menue plan kit it says: Pork
Feet- 3oz
Ribs- 3oz
Center Loin Chop- 4oz
Tenderloin- 4 oz
I usually say that 4 oz pork is a good measurement for all chops and ground meat. Hope this helps!
I started two weeks ago and felt the same way in the very beginning. I thought, "What did I get myself into?" and was sure I couldn't do it for 18 weeks. But I am down 3.2 pounds and my body has adjusted. Are you doing Fast Forward right now? I got headahes, too. Make sure you are drinking a lot of water and it will pass. I am not sure about the pork but as far as green veggies go, I ate lettuce, spinach, broccoli, celery, bell peppers, and cucmbers. Good luck. Once you get about 3-4 days under your belt you will be fine!
I usually find it easier with the vegetables if I have some cooked ones, in addition to the raw ones. When I do FF, I usually will cook some broccoli or spinach for one meal. I use differents herbs and spices and sometimes lemon juice for seasoning. It kind of breaks things up from just "having a salad."
Thanks for all the good advise. I was thinking about cooking some green beans to at least get some more veggies into my diet...
My plan is from about 8 years ago and unfortunately the frozen dinner list is way outdated. I cannot find anything in the grocery store anymore. Most things have been discontinued or replaced with new meals. It should be trying to find some entrees I can eat.
My Gold Plan calls it the "take off phase" and it lasts three days. Unlimited Meats- beef, chicken, fish, liver, shellfish, tuna and veal. No mention about pork so that is where I am confused.
I am a somewhat picky eater so most of the veggies I dont usually eat. I guess I will have to try them or I might starve!

Thanks a bunch. I am heading to the grocery store today to retreive some better things to eat.
Without buying the juice from LAWL what else could I buy?
Knudsen's Morning Blend juice, 4 oranges or 1/8 cantaloupe four times a day (1/2 cantaloupe per day). Or even the Celebrity Juice Diet or Hollywood 48 hour juice diet can work too although they have a few different ingredients than the LA juice.
For the Knudsen's (in the organic section of your grocery store), you would mix 26oz juice, 4 teaspoons Benefiber and 6oz water and sip throughout the day.
