Default I'm going crazy!

It's 7pm and I am fighting off the biggest craving for some brownies or something....MAYBE EVEN A DOUGHNUT! All day I have been good. I took my daughter and some of her friends bowling. I didn't eat any of that junk from the snack bar. After, we went to Picadilly, where I had a few bites of salad, baked chicken, and green beans. Now I'm home, and I MUST HAVE CHOCOLATE!

Judy ~ STOP! That craving will go away. I like to ward off my cravings by having an apple (sweet) and drinking alot. I'll drink water with crystal lite (5 cals) or Diet Green Tea by Lipton. Or even have a diet soda instead of eating junk. Or get a bag of baby carrots and eat until you feel sick...haha! I did that once too! But get past this and next time it will be easier to not give into it. Every time gets easier. Trust me....or think of it as this ~ would you want to have to diet 2 EXTRA days to get rid of that junk you gave in to? NO WAY!!!!! If all of the above doesn't work then go for a walk or even a drive. Get away from it! You can do it!

Tina, I took your advice and went for a drive. We have a great dairy bar in town ...... but I drove right past it!
Thanks for your support. I kept busy doing stuff last night. I ate a few Quaker Rice Snack things and tea. WHEW!

Have you tried the new 100 calorie hostess cupcakes? They are only 3 ww points and really are awesome. They really get rid of the chocolate craving without blowing your diet.

Here's how I handle my chocolate cravings: chocolate chips. I'll take about 5 from the bag and let each one dissolve in my mouth slowly like a hard candy. No chewing! It takes several minutes to get though 5 chips. Instead of scarfing down several brownies, I've taken in less than 50 calories. I heard about that trick recently and it really works.

You're soo right Tina! We all have to tackle our cravings and standing strong against them... (they're just sooo strong)... Also can I ask what diet/program you're using to lose weight?
