ok... a drastic change...need some feedback!
Ha ha... ok so I think I've lost my mind...in celebration of 30lbs down I cut my hair off...literally...all of it... then tossed some dye on top! I think my stylist was more nervous than I was...anyway no one's really seen it yet so I was just looking for some new look feed back! (oh and a bit of an NSV too ... I bought a hot dress...in the normal section at Macy's...a size 12 calvin klein....on super clearance! for the wedding I'm going to in 2 weeks...not only that but all the dresses I tried on fit me in some way!)
ok so here's my before and afters with the new hair!
sorry the new one is a bit messy....and I'm lacking makeup but you get the idea!

I love love the shorter hair!! I am addicted to shorter hair though. Wow you look REALLY great! Keep up the good work!

You are soooooo pretty and I love the new haircut! The darker color makes your eyes stand out even more, don't worry it looks great but I'm sure such a change will take getting used to, but like I said the cut and color looks great on you!

I think you look awesome!! I used to have super long hair until my kids come along. Since then Ive kept it super short. A lot easier to take care of.

I LOVE shorter hair with glasses like yours. I have similarly-shaped glasses, and I definitely think I look better wearing them with short hair than with long. Either way, though, you've got gorgeous eyes, and I agree that the new darker color just makes them pop even more. I think the short hair actually makes you look younger, too (not that you looked old before...you know what I mean  ).

My 19 y/o son would say "You're a sexy lady." I think the shorter is just that, sexy and sassy. Looks great on you. I am a former cosmetologist. I should know.

PHEW! thanks ladies...I do like it...thought its been a long time since I've had short hair so its gonna take some time to to get used to it and figure out what to do with it! It was a bit nerve racking that no one had seen it yet.
I've been known to do some drastic things to my hair (its been every color of the rainbow, short, long, dread locks, shaved etc so I've got some balls when it comes to major hair changes) i think this was a change for the better!
My advice if you're gonna go for a major hair change....just let go. I looked at all kinds of pictures and all kinds of colors of styles that I liked but in the end they never even left my bag...I said to Jack (my stylist) 'are you feeling creative today' and that threw him through a loop! He kept saying 'are you sure' ha ha....he said he wished all his clients were as brave as me ha ha! I turned over all creative license and said 'Jack, I trust you...now go to town' and he did...and it was quite liberating!

I like it!
I just cut my hair off this week too... I was hoping that having a great new do would keep me motivated to get the weight off! LOL, so far it is working. I went from waist-length hair to shoulder length and dyed it auburn!
This must be the week for drastic changes!
