Default Thoughts on how to count this?

I just bought (but have not yet eaten) a product called "Santa Fe Flatbread". The nutritional facts for 1 piece (25 g) are 110 calories, 3 g fat; 0 cholesterol, 150 mg sodium; 19 g carb and 3 g protein.

Any thoughts on how to count 1 piece? I'm thinking 1 starch?

Well-the calories are similar to half a bagel. You're probably okay to count it as 1 starch-but I wouldn't have it very often. You really should take the info to your COD and ask . . . .

Rule of thumb I got early on from COD was that a starch is basically 60 calories if under 2 grams of fiber or up to 120 calories if the fiber is 4-5 grams.

I got this advice from the counselor that dropped 145 pounds on a food exchange program and has kept it off for 38 years! Thus, I usually take her advice quite seriously. She obviously knows what works and doesn't work.
