Be careful though...the 'large size' tortillas are 62g and one tortilla would count as two grain servings. I buy the 'low-carb original' from LaTortilla Factory, which are only 36g (about 1 grain serving)

OK, I am confused as usual. Where is there something that tells us that this counts as two grains. I bought these as well. The package says one serving???? I just don't get it.

An SBD grain serving is 1 ounce, which is 30 grams. Since the large size tortillas are 62 grams each, one counts as 2 grain servings.

Thank you for explaining. I bought a book, but I did not see that in there. I am so discouraged as I started this diet the day after new years. I have only lost 8 pounds and have been very faithful. But, I don't don't eat much grain at all so I don't think that i ruined anything. My daughter says I am not enough of a carb o holic for south beach. Do you think that is why I am not having luck with losing?
