Default Can I rinse out sodium?

I went to Trader Joe's today to replenish my almonds. I usually buy the roasted unsalted or lightly salted whole almonds.

I mistakenly picked up roasted salted almonds. Geez! After eating the others, these taste like I'm lapping up tablespoons of salt!

Can I rinse them off and put them in a warm oven to dry for a bit? Would that reduce the sodium?

I'm glad they have a great return policy. I may have to take these back tomorrow.

I've read several places that it's ok to rinse them and dry them to remove excess salt, though you may not get it all. I'd make sure they were completely dry before packing them in a closed container. Otherwise you should be fine

I've tried to rinse and dry salted nuts and it didn't go so well. I just buy unsalted.

I've had better luck just putting them in a mesh colander and shaking and stirring without water. "sift" the salt out

but if you can take them back, I would do that
