Default Ro-tels???

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, but I'm making a dish from the Entrees-Phase I section of the SB forum (Mixed up casserole) and the recipe calls for 1 can Ro-tels. I'll just be using regular diced tomatoes, but I need to know how MUCH. What's the standard Ro-tel can size?

TIA!

I'd use a 19 oz can of tomatoes.
If someone knows the size of the tin, let me know and I'll add it to the recipe.
(This sort of thing is why we changed the method of posting recipes. I'd have clarified that before approving. We're elarning!)

The Ro*tel brand of spicy tomatoes is a bit smaller than the standard brands of diced tomatoes.

Ro*tel is 10 oz or 283g compared to DelMonte brand diced tomatoes which is 14.5 oz or 411g.

Keep in mind that Rotel is diced tomatoes mixed with diced green chilis. They also have some spiced like Mexican and Italian and they have a Chili one that I use in my chili. So you may want to add some green chilis to your diced tomatoes if that is the flavor you are looking for.
