Default YAY broken the frustrating plateau!

FINALLY!!!

I broke my plateau! I have been STUCK between 227 and 230 for a MONTH. ARGHHHHH I've been faithful to following a nutritious diet, to excersize etc, NOTHING had changed, but I was stuck. I am now officially at 224, for 2 days in a row!!! I know its still a HUGE number, but when I consider I was 286 when Hayden AND Alannah was born and 269 when I moved to KY last april, I am just SO stoked!!! I have a bday goal to be at or under 199 by my bday, April 1st, 2007. It's also the date I plan to quit smoking, I know once I see those ONEderful numbers, there's no way in **** I'll snack myself fat again.

*singing, IM SO EXCITED AND I JUST CANT HIDE IT!!!

Angi,
That is great news. I also just got out of a long plateau and it's feels great, doesn't it? It is well deserved and good for you for sticking to your healthy eating and exercise and not giving up when things were at a stand still. I hit a plateau at 170 and was there for over a month and then I copped out and went on a little binge for a week or so . I finally got back to 170 and since then I have lost another 6 pounds in the past three weeks, yeah

Oh btw, where in KY are you, my dh and I were in Lousiville for just over a year, and we loved it. I like being back home, but KY is beautiful and a lot more fun then I thought it would be. Well at least Louisville was, I am not sure about the rest of KY?

I'm in southeastern Ky, about 30 miles from the TN border, actually. I love it here, the scenery anyway, and I'll miss it when I move to Alabama. We miss the ocean WAY to much. Although we're both in love with the mountains and all, we miss the more active lifestyle being near the ocean and in a warmer climate afforded us. It's MUCH easier to get a great walk/hike on the wet sand in 70 degree weather for free, than it is to hike the mountains in cold weather.

Angi, Congrats! Plateau's are a pain in the rear!! I was just passing by and HAD to post because I was 228-231 for like 6 months and finally hit 224 as well! It's such a nice feeling.. I bet you are on cloud 9 right now! Keep up the great work girl!

You are an example that hard work, determination and persistance DO PAY OFF!! Good for you for sticking with it even when you don't feel you're making progress. You've come a long way already, keep going!
