Stacey London may be one of my new heroes
There seems to be a What Not to Wear Marathon on or something. Which is super fine with me ... wish I didn't have to go to work
I've been watching Stacey London. This gal has an unfortunate nose, a grey steak in her hair and is definitely hippy without much up top. But she looks great! Even simply dressed .... a t-shirt and skirt ... she looks great.
Fear not the pear shape girls .... what do you think?

but Stacey is a VERY thin, taller pear....BTW, she is a regular on Oprah (website too), telling you what jeans look best and why, all body types and sizes.
I enjoy watching her and ....whatsisname? for years....I'm afraid they will come knock on my door and throw my clothes away one day, nominated by UD.

I watch this show every week. I love that they have real people, ok they don't have super large women, but many are plus size and they always leave the show looking great! Clinton Kelly is the male counterpart! He is great too!

I saw them at Macys on Wednesday. They were filming a clip for WNTW -- they look EXACTLY like they do on camera.
I LOVE the show

I'd bet she thinks she has to stay that thin because the first place she gains weight is on her hips. AND ... I'd bet a dollar on control top pantyhose!
Is she tall? I'll have to watch some more.

I would LOVE to be nominated for WNTW. I want the shopping spree! I don't mind if they throw away everything I have - even my faux-leopard winter coat!
Yoo-hoo - Clinton & Stacey - over here!!!

Did they make fun of the shoes, or the shoes on the person? Maybe they were bad for her, but perfect for you!
My friend has a pair of pants that they once made a gal throw out - but they look good on my friend!

I love Clinton and Stacey and WNTW! I desperately wish I could be on the show, not for the new clothes (knowing what I spend on clothes, I'm not really sure $5,000 is enough) but because the whole experience seems so uplifting (and I'd love new hair from Nick and a makeover from Carmindy).
I'm not sure how tall Stacey is but I know she is a size 2 because it was mentioned on one of the shows. But if Stacey is hippy, I hate to think what I am .

They would totally trash all of my shoes. It's one of my main fashion downfalls (that and a shocking lack of accessories).

I only mean to comfort gals who think that there's something wrong with being pear-shaped. There isn't, it's a womanly shape that's all. One of the many wonderful sizes and shapes that women come in!

Mom is watching that downstairs, and the woman that's on now is a big tomboy. heh. Love it! Made me sad when they threw all those AWESOME clothes in the trashcan. She grabbed the star shirts from them, and said..these..are mine. LOL. Would have done the SAME thing. :P
Also, I would sneak back later and dig all the clothes out and put 'em back in my closet. LOL.

OK, Stacey is a size 2 and has NO boobs.....she's probably about 5'8" or 9. Clinton would probably look fantastic in clogs and a ratty bathrobe. he's got a great way of tossing away your favorite shirts....
I'd love for the colorist to do my hair, and I need about triple the amount on a Visa card to buy those nice new clothes....one thing I really like is how they pick good JACKETS.

Susan, that is funny about the shoes I love watching WNTW too, i get teary eyed sometimes when the women (or men) put on a brave face while getting critiqued in the 3-way mirror, but then when they talk to the camera they let it show that they were way p.o.'ed about having their sense of style (or lack thereof) trashed. At least I heard the clothes were donated to charity or something, and not exactly just tossed away.
I love that white streak in Stacy's hair, I think she and I are almost the same age and i'm starting to go gray. I would love to have the guts to pull that off.
