Default Hi Everyone

I'm new and need support! Please! I have been following CORE for 26 days. So far I have lost 9 lbs. (Is this a good start?) I currently weigh 244 pounds. I walk twice a day but only really slowly for about 15 minutes around our neighborhood. I feel, so far, that I could stick with CORE for the rest of my life as far as not feeling deprived, etc. I do need to work on drinking much more water. Please, any suggestions anyone can give me, I would be very grateful for. Thank you so much.

Valerie

Valerie, you are doing GREAT! We'd love to have more Core devotees here. Come hang out on the weekly thread with us. That's where we chat on a daily basis about program and everything that impacts on our staying on program. We are a very nice bunch of folks and we'll help you all we can. I'm at 267 and have another 120 pounds to lose. I'd love to have your company on my journey. I, too, think I can eat the Core way for the rest of my life.

Hi Valerie and WELCOME!

You are doing a great job on Core and looks like you found something you can stick with. You also seem to be doing great with the exercise (and could set an example for a lazy frouf like me!)

As for the water - sometimes big glasses/bottles do seem daunting. I sometime find if I take a smaller 4 oz glass I can chug it no problem. Not as overwhelming as those big litre jugs - so keep a small glass around (not sure if you're at work or at home) and everytime you pass the sink (or keep it on your desk?) - have those 4 oz....before you know it it adds up!

Good luck and please come join us on the weekly chat thread!
