Default Need Gold Plan Books!! Help, please!!

Help! I lost 25 lbs last year using the gold plan. Worked great for me, but had to quit just 2 lbs short of my goal when I got pregnant with our second child. I just had her 9 weeks ago and am ready to get back on the plan, but I can't find my daily log or the plan book (where it says what you can eat at which restaurant). Would anyone be willing to copy a page of the daily log for me and copy the plan book? I would happily pay for your time! I just cannot afford to re-join. I should have suspended my plan, or something, but I just quit going, and now they say that I have to start all over again.

Sredish - I believe (and I could be wrong) that it would be against our "rules" here on the site to do that for ya! Aphil will know the answer, but I think it goes against copyright laws or something...
Aphil - are you there? Can you answer?
Thanks

The fact that you just joined this site and made only one post which asked for what I'm sure is copyrighted materials is not exactly a cool thing to do.

While I can understand how money must be tight with a new baby and all the associated expenses, it is also wrong to ask for materials that a program would charge its members for.

So many of us have come to depend on 3FC, it would not be right to jepardize this site by asking others to share proprietary information about the various diet programs.

My best advice would be to try and remember what you've learned in the past and apply it to your current lifestyle as much as possible. Good luck to you.

sredish - Pearl is right; the 3FC site has copyright rules they need to follow, so copying or even posting all the material from the books is considered illegal.

Another suggestion is that you can look over at the Daily Menu Threads where some of us list our daily menus (different colored plans; different menus). I assume you'll be doing the all food plan (no LA Lites), and at your current weight of 188, my guess is that you'd do the purple plan w/o lights (the gold plan without lites would not give you enough nutrition!!). I just switched over to purple w/o lights and I get 2P, 4V, 3F, 1D, 1F, 2S - protein sizes (weights) are anywhere from 6 to 8 oz, and you need all of it. Continue to ask questions on this site and over time, you'll probably be able to figure it all out.

Also, a while back, I think I read where someone suggested you check on eBay for the materials, but you need to be careful and make sure you are really getting on the right colored program.

Congrats on your baby!

Gee, thanks for the "support".

A simple, that isn't allowed, would have sufficed. The snippy comments (HappyToBeMe), I could have done without. That, Happy, wasn't "cool".

Thanks for the warm welcome to the club, Happy.

Thanks (seriously) to Mini for taking to time to put together a well thought out post that actually helped. I don't think that she's in danger of being boycotted now due to copyright laws. And no, I didn't ask about the green plan being on ebay. Her post was the reason that I even asked about the gold plan that I was on. People politely told her that because it wasn't common to check on ebay. I figured that because the gold plan is so common that someone would help. Nobody jumped all over her and told her she wasn't "cool" for asking her question.

And who says "cool" anyway who's over 17?

Mods, I'm sure you'll delete this ASAP, but I'm the type of girl who stands up for herself.

Happy2BeMe isn't even a regular on this LAWL thread - she's on Weight Watchers and probably just picked it up from the New Posts thread. Sorry you didn't get the typical, very supportive response that you wanted. Don't let this hinder your decision to lose weight.

sredish - There are plenty of girls on this site who don't go to a center and who are having great success (EVETTE). I think you can get program info from a yahoo board too (maybe a little more specific). Also, if you are nursing, you should probably be on purple like Joni said. Lastly, there are a ton of end of year specials going on at the CODs. I think I saw a post a day or so ago that weeks were being offered for $3. My COD is offering them for $9. Call them up and strike a deal. They want the business during the slow December month! And ask them about upcoming January specials. You may have more bargaining power during this slow month before everyone makes their new years resolution and floods the place.

If you had been on these boards for a while and were aware of the rules, you would know that we CAN'T provide proprietary information about any copyrighted diet plan. To do so would cause grief not for us but for Suzanne and the people who work hard to provide this great forum for us.

I was not snippy as I did say I empathised with sredish's situation, it just didn't make it right. And if you had been posting regularly on the boards instead of walking right in and asking for something that also would have been a different situation.

I think it's interesting that you all flame me and rally around and support the person who's asking for something that everyone else pays for.

My mama always said, "it is not what you say it is how you say it"....

Lets put those claws back in those paws and all rejoice in the fact that we are all trying to enrich our lives by being the healthiest we can be. Good luck in that endeavor.

Happy, I don't think anybody was flaming you, Joni was just stating that you were not a LAWL member.

sredish- Why don't you contact the LAWL customer service number 1-877-LAHELP-1 and talk with them about your situation. If you had weeks left plus your maintenance weeks they usually are pretty accomodating on trying to help you out. Especially if you quit going because you got pregnant. Your center actually should have suggested that you put your account on hold for your pregnancy. Most centers would welcome you back with open arms and give you your weeks that you did not use. That would be my first option to use if I were in your situation. Good luck!

Happy2bme - We all came here to 3FC "asking for something" with our first few posts. We were asking for support, information, and a place to belong during a major change in our lives.
I for one, came here wanting a place to get encouragement and information, but most of all, to see real people working the plan successfully! And I found that here!
The ladies here will tell it like it is in a way that will hopefully encourage, not cast judgement or condemnation. We build up, not tear down. We will go out of our way to find an answer, recipe, or to give a hug. We rejoice in the losses and share in the frustrations.
I'll go out on a limb and say this... since I came here in August, the few times I've seen stern remarks, they've been from someone doing something other than LAWL giving advice or answering questions on the LAWL thread. If someone is asking for LAWL advice, why would someone outside LAWL try to answer it?!? I guess in my mind, that's like the internalist trying to tell me how to treat a skin disease. He may know a little something about it from the past, but there are specialist out there for skin diseases! And I would NEVER go to the South Beach thread (for example) and try and answer questions there unless I had done South Beach and been SUCCESSFUL at it!
We welcome all here as it should be. I'm truly thankful for this site and the work the ladies have put into it for ALL of us. So I personally hate to see anyone treated as though they don't belong here - or worse, made to feel they've been attacked - on ANY thread by anyone!
With all that said hopefully in a manner that does not degrade, insult, or offend - I speak blessings to you with Weight Watchers! My brother and SIL have done WW in the past and been very successful with it!
Merry Christmas,

We truly have a special community here. And it IS open to ANYONE. We just ask that if you are going to visit or join our community that you treat others as you want to be treated.

(We're actually one of the nicest boards out there)
