Talking Have You Tried Kashi All Natural Entrees?

I was SO excited to see these at my grocery store! I love Kashi 7 grain pilaf but, like brown rice, it takes forever to cook, so we don't have it as often as I'd like. These frozen meals have the 7 grain pilaf! The ingredients look really good, especially for frozen meals...my favorite was reading this:

"....chablis (white wine)..."

I'm so used to seeing things in parenthesis to explain some unpronounceable chemical that it just made me to see chablis defined in an ingredient list!

Here's more info (including the chance to print a coupon): http://www.kashi.com/ourfood/7WholeG...s/Default.aspx

I'm saving these for a day when I don't have leftovers available for lunch, so I haven't tried them yet, but I got the Lemon-Rosemary Chicken and the Pasta Pomodoro (the pasta is made with their 7-grain mix). They looked pretty good...the only thing I saw was a bit of sugar in the chicken strips...but it was low on the list so it didn't bother me too much.

What do you think?

Hi, Laurie, I was excited to see these new frozen entrees as well. I love Kashi products! I tried the Black Bean Mango and the Lemon Rosemary Chicken. They both live up to my expectations of Kashi, and they are delicious and filling!

I tried the shrimp entree and the rice seemed really mushy and watery - not sure why so I wasn't too terribly impressed

A few weeks ago, I had the Sweet and Sour Chicken, since there was nothing else in my parents' freezer. It was tasty, but that variety is quite high in sugar as you might expect. The others look more SBD-friendly. At the time, I wasn't so concerned.

Did you find these at a regular grocery store or a health food store? I haven't seen them!

I tried a couple chicken ones -- I forget which ones now-- I think one was the rosemary chicken. Anyhow, I wasn't on any kind of diet plan at the time and I was pleasantly surprised by the taste.

Kiki, I got mine at just a regular grocery store (Publix, here in Florida.)
