Breakfast
Raisin bran cereal
Half-size container of yogurt
Snack
Banana
Lunch (at Red Lobster)
1/2 of a biscuit
Shrimp cocktail appetizer
Salad with fat free ranch dressing
Steamed veggies
Small piece of swordfish, grilled
Baked potato, with a bit of margarine, sour cream, and pico de gallo
Dinner
Luna Bar
2 oz of peanuts
Okay, hrm, weird day. I woke up starving, and feeling protein-deprived after yesterday, and didn't get to lunch until 4. I think they were pretty healthy choices. The 1/2 biscuit was an accident; I meant to eat the whole thing, but was nursing it along, and the waiter took my bread plate away when he brought it dinner. There were more biscuits left, but I figured it was a sign to stop. Oh. And the 2 oz of peanuts was supposed to be 1, but it came in a 2-oz bag and I have a problem with serving sizes. I thought it was neat that the vending machine at my hotel has Luna Bars, though.
Lunch
Cup of minestrone soup
Slice of bread with a dab of butter
Bow tie pasta with sauteed veggies
Snack
Banana
Dinner
Baked potato, with butter and salsa
All-veggie salad with just a hint of cheese, and FF Ranch dressing
Two spoonfuls of banana pudding
Three bites of pound cake
Some grapes (1 cup?)
Day three of hotel living. Breakfast, as always, is easy. Dinner is more challenging. I went to a soup and salad buffet place for dinner (with potatos, obviously) and probably came off okay. The banana pudding was gooood. Oooh, and another candy free day!
Lunch
Margarita Grilled Tuna at Chili's (tuna steak, over a fajita I didn't eat, with some rice underneath it, and beans around the side, and a brown sauce -- so who knows)
Dinner
Tiny (1/2 oz) pack of pretzels
Small snack pack granolaberry crunch mix
Ugh. Last day of prematurely ended business trip. Breakfast at the hotel -- the usual -- and we went out to lunch. Dunno how bad the tuna was. I couldn't resist sampling jelly bellies in the afternoon -- they had 30+ flavors -- and a small bit of chocolate. Dinner was plane food, which these days means nothing. It had 130 calories total. And now I'm too tired for a real dinner. Ugh. Sleep.
Breakfast
Bowl of Frosted Flakes
Vegetarian breakfast patty
Lunch
Most of a hummus veggie sandwich with feta cheese, on a 8" wheat roll: had hummus (the lady put on way too much), feta cheese, a tiny bit of FF ranch, sauteed veggies, and tons of other non-sauteed veggies
Dinner
Lean Cuisine meal (potatoes and broccoli and cheese)
I was stuck out at a government facility all day. No time to snack, and I'm too exhausted to cook dinner. And, really, not all that hungry after the big lunch. Or maybe I'm just stressed. I mean, I am stressed, but maybe that made me less hungry for dinner.
Dinner
2 slices Pizza Hut thin crust veggie lover pizza
2 potato chips, with French Onion dip
I swear, eating out continually is driving me nuts. Plus I haven't had time to grocery shop since I got back in town. So nothing for breakfast -- thus, a frozen meal. The cafeteria at the place I had to go to today had next to NOTHING vegetarian. Their prepackaged sandwiches all had meat -- even egg salad had bacon on it! And their salads ALL had chicken on them. What's up with that? I got them to make me a special cheese only sandwich, and snagged a giant pretzel, which was about the only other non-meat product in the place. It was weird. Dinner was at a party -- I think I did pretty well there.
Snack
Garden salad shaker with FF herb vinegarette dressing
Chewy LF chocolate chip granola bar
Dinner
6" veggie delite Subway sub on white, with cheese and light mayo
Baked Lays
Eh. A little heavy on the sweets side, but that's because I hadn't had them for a couple of days, I think. I usually have pizza on Fridays (or else Chinese), hanging out with friends, but I just wasn't in the mood. I brought my own Subway instead. I think other people were tired of the pizza/Chinese rut -- two easiest things to get delivered -- since they brought Subway too.
I just wasn't at all hungry today. Maybe I'm sick, or stressed, or lazy, or I don't know.
And you could have done much worse at Lone Star. When I ate meat, and went to Outback, I'd get my steak with a side order of cheese fries instead of the potato. I don't want to think how many calories and fat grams went into THAT.
