DH and I did a Caribbean cruise for our 10th anniversary. What fun! This was about a year and a half after I had dropped to 128 pounds and I had such fun clothes to wear to all the functions. We got to dine with the first officer (free wine that night!). The food was fabulous and the sights were even better. So, that is my vote!!

Hi girls! I'm back! I survived the wedding & the honeymoon!
It was a very simple ceremony with just a few close family members and friends. I started boo-hooing when I was try to say my vows... I feel more in love with him after all these years then I did when I originally married him.
Afterwards we had a nice informal reception/dinner with all kinds of yummy foods, champayne, wine & beer. Tonight we are to go to our boss/friends home for cake & champayne with the co-workers. I am so relieved to finally get everything taken care of. It has been a very trying 10.5 years. Today we are back to normal:
Thank you everyone for the well wishes, it is so appreciated.
BTW: The honeymoon was spent here at home, dead tired and snoring by 12:30 am. LOL!

Gayle what a great picture of you too. I don't think I have ever seen a picture of Steve. When I said my vows I cried too. To tell you the truth I seen a lot of people crying when we said our vows. We have been through so much and I think that we surprised everyone that we would be able to celebrate our 25th. I too am more in love with Larry now than when I married him. I think that some cultures have it right when the parents pick your parner and as time passes by your love grows.
Have a great time tonight.

Wow, everyone must be very busy, especially Gayle (wink, wink.)

Gayle-What is Allison doing for Halloween? My friends 14 month old grandchild is going as a nun. I can't wait to see the pictures. Someone made the outfit for her.

We had a wonderful birthday celebration yesterday for the principal's secretary. She turned 70! I don't know if I told you, but we went together and got her a Tiffany silver bracelet. I went to Naples Saturday to buy it. Also, students were bringing her roses all day long. They ended up bringing her 70 roses, each with a special moment in history that happened each year since 1936. Then they put it all in a memory book. That was from the 5th graders. Each grade level gave her a special present. It was very lovely. All of us office people went out yesterday afternoon at the Prawnbroker and had a very nice dinner.

Have a great day everyone!

Shelley that sounds like a very creative celebration. Great ideas. I am sure she loved it, it will be something she will never forget.

Deanna welcome to our group. It is usually much busier here. Maybe everyone got snowed in......and the powers down and in bed with Gayle.....lol

We had a dump of snow yesterday. The ground was bare and now there is about six inches. I don't think it will be going away til spring but you never know.
It sure makes it harder for the kids to get around on halloween. Any body doing anything special besides bringing the kids out. How about costumes?
