The scale doesnt move no mo' but the inches do.. I went window shopping yesterday and aeropostale was having a sale.. jeans 29.99 *squeal* so anyways lol.. I wanted to try them on to see if I need to go back when I get paid.. I searched high, and I searched low.. WHAT?! no 7/8 what do you mean no 7/8 the there were 5/6 and 9/10. I know that I cant wear a 9/10. So.. I grabbed the 5/6 and I looked at my brother.. laughed and said.. this wont take long, no way my butt is fitting in these lol. Went to the dressing room. LOW AND BEHOLD A MIRACLE OCCURED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They went up like "butta" ( thats southern for butter) didnt struggle, no side to side to get them up, they buttoned perfect and there was a ROOM in the waist.. I came out of the dressing room.. literally danced a jig in the middle of Aeropostale WITH people watching.. hehe said " sorry yall haha!! im just excited" Needless to say.. when I get paid.. they are mine.. because A) I like them, B) they are 5/6 and C) because i deserve it damn it. Ive never in my life been this small.. and even if they run big.. at AEROPOSTALE I WEAR A 5/6 lol. I cant believe it.. regardless of how much i weigh size 5 is my ultimate goal. I dont want to be any smaller than a 5. I think im gonna cry,.. no.. lets dance instead
haha.. yeah this guy that was in there with his daughter looked at my brother and said.. " I take it she likes them" lol My brother looked at me like I was "special" and said DJ are you ok. They just dont "get it" from a size 24 to a 5/6 is AMAZING.. and I never finish anything and I am almost finished losing weight!!! OMG.. what will I do then?! I dont know my life without losing weight.. aye carumba...
Oh, and by the way, you may want to check out the Maintainers section of the site and start getting comfortable with the idea now. From most of what I've read, maintaining isn't that different from losing; it just means continuing to make the right choices for your weight and (more importantly) your health!
omg.. forever!!! lol.. I was a 24 when was 18, then I went to a 14 for a few years, then I was an 11 for about 2 years, then I was a 9 for a while, thats the last size I have actually bought, well no.. I bought a 7, but that was a tight 7. So.. basically I was a 24.. 8years ago. My weight has always been an up hill climb. I never got it under wraps until my daughters father, * when my daughter was 4-5mos old called me fat* Needless to say.. hes history in my life, so I vowed from that day no.. NO ONE, was EVER gonna call me fat again, I was just so sick of it, and I was going to make him eat his words one day.. hahaha.. so funny now, because from time to time, hes like your so beautiful.. blah blah blah and in the back of my mind, I say.. " you disgust me creep, I am the same person i was when i was "fat" size 11, which is so not fat" Anyways.. point being the reason it took so long to get where I am is because I will lose weight. Be satisfied with my weight, then I will decided to lose more, be satisfied.. lol.. never really went full steam ahead
That's quite a story, I meant the ex part. But of course the jeans part too. I just can't imagine how unbelivably wonderful those jeans must have felt gliding up your body. Good for you!!!
Congratulations!!! I know that is a GREAT feeling!!
I soooo hope, the next time I "lose the weight" that I will keep it off, and I can slide my big-bone'did-butt into a 7/8 (I don't even dare hope for a 5/6... truth be known, I was in college last time I saw a 5/6!!!)
The fact that you've lost so much weight & can now wear that size is just proof positive for the rest of us.... IT. CAN. BE. DONE!
