did you know there was such thing as losing weight with a high carb diet? does any know about it?

I have never heard of a specific high carb diet. I do know that some people use a lot of pasta, rice, baked potatoes, bread and such while losing weight and counting calories or fat grams. Many also eat less protein in exchange for these higher carb foods. I've done it myself before when losing weight.
