I just joined a 24 fitness center and plan to work out at least 4 x a week there and use my treadmill at home for light cardio on off days.
I will be working out on my lunch break so I can only work out for 50 minutes. The trainer I met with today said I should do cardio 2 times a week and then a wt/cardio mix the other 2 days.
Today was a my first workout and the machines that I like are the Eliptical - the leg press and the pull-up/dip machine. Will I be getting a workout that I can loose wt and build muscle with if I use: the eliptical for 30 minutes (i only walk 1 mile in 20 minutes
) and then the dip/leg press machines? Or do I really have to use ALL the wt machines at the gym?
