Default Inner Arm irritability

I notice that when I walk, use the eliptical or anything where there is arm movement, the insides of my arms get sore. It's the area up near my arm pit. It feels like chafing, but there's no visible redness. It's not the whole time I'm walking, and not every time, either. It's annoying because I end up holding my arms out, away from my torso. It looks like I'm ready to take off. Any hellp would be appreciated as far as what to do. I've also tried different bras as well..

thanks much!

I have seen a commercial about a anti chafing cream....I think it's made by the same folks who make monistat. You could try it...check out your local drug store. Hope it helps!

I sometimes get this too but not always. I think it is from the heat build up between skin - you are wearing a tank or something, right? I usually get relief by putting on a tshirt that has fabric covering the area. For me it seems to be either heat or my arm rubbing on a piece of seam from the torso section of my garment.

The same thing happens to me. Try Body Glide or Monistat's powder chafing gel. You can buy the monistat gel at most drug stores. The body glide you can find at running stores. Also, long sleeves seem to eliminate the problem as well. Nike, Adidas, etc. make long sleeve dry-fit/cool-max fitness tops that wick away moisture and make your arms comfortable.

Stick deodorant/antiperspirant (applied like Body Glide or the Monistat gel) is rumored to work, too.
