Question What will you toss when you make goal?

This is for anyone reading it, so please join in. What will you toss when you make goal? This can be clothing, or any other object associated with being overweight.

I'd have to say it will be all my slacks with the elastic waists. I have several pairs, and they're outta here when I get back to the weight I was 2 years ago! Also gone will be my shoe arch inserts. This extra weight is so hard on my poor feet. One last thing - all my "plus size" catalogs will be history. And I'll have my name taken off their mailing lists.

What are you going to get rid of?

Yes to the plus sized catalogs. I love that idea. I'm getting rid of clothing as it becomes too big, and I'll continue to do that. I want to get rid of every big, long shirt I bought hoping to camoflage my stomach and rear. I won't be buying anymore of those. What I buy now and will continue to buy will be fitted shirts

I have been tossing my clothes as i lose the weight so i won't be tempted to let myself slide n wear the bigger comfy'er clothes .. keeps me focused at times .. but when i toss those last 3 pairs of jeans i have that are already a tad big .. i think i will have a bonfire celebration .. altho .. hopefully i will have bought more clothes by than .. or it might look like a naked bonfire ritual thing .. and my neighbors just aren't up for that kind of shock!

Definately the oversized T-shirts that I deluded myself into thinking that it hid my true weight. Does stupdity and obesity go hand in hand?

Joan - hello to a fellow Hoosier.

Norma - no, we aren't stupid, just hopeful.

owira - better call the fire department first, lol.

jtammy - Ive gotten rid of lots of clothes already, too, and it feels great. What isn't so great is that I gained back, and had to buy some bigger clothes. Ouch! That hurt!

Two more things I already got rid of is 1) Tums- I never have heartburn anymore. And 2) granny panties. I love having bras and panty sets that are cute, and match.

The first thing to go will be my collection of granny panties. Well, second really because I'm going to start tossing my jeans as they get too loose. Don't want to lose track because 'my jeans fit' only to find that I've been wearing the ones that were falling off me a month ago...

I agree with those who said: the Lane Bryant and Avenue credit cards, the long "camoflaging" shirts (ha ha!), and the granny panties.

Hopefully I'll be able to get rid of the ginormous bras, the uneasy feeling of "will this creaky chair break under my weight?", and a dishonest number on my driver's license.

Some things I'll toss:
- huge clunker shoes
- my worn-out shirts that I can't seem to replace with acceptable new shirts (at my size). maybe I'm just too picky.
- my current driver's license definitely
- and probably my old car with the wornout seats!

Why is it, that I thought, that I was the only person who put a lower weight on their driver license? I gladly tell people my age, but I've always lied about my weight. I guess I was in denial.

My big a$$ 4X sleep shirts are first to go. I got them in the mens department. I hate that I ever was at the point where I had to buy ANYTHING 4X YUK
