Default Officially under 300lbs! :)

I'm so happy.
I didn't care *how* much I lost at this weigh-in, but just so long as I was under 300lbs.
YES!
I'm down to 291 (last weigh-in was 301)... I didn't expect I'd be down 10lbs.
So that is now 61lbs total in 11 weeks of Optifast.
My dad is also down 61lbs - but only has 47 more to go to get to goal; I've got 91 to go...still seems like such a long journey even though its going so fast.
I had another NSV this morning - I put on a pair of jeans (my nice Wrangler jeans that I used to wear ALL the time) - they are still tight, but I can get them on, button and zip them....I haven't had these jeans on in over 3 years!
It feels so good!
I'm also down a total of 40inches overall! I can tell... it is obvious to me when I look in the mirror that I have lost alot of weight. Of all my weight loss attempts, the most I ever lost was about 45lbs, so I am doing far better than I EVER have with anything in the past. I am still so grateful to be doing this program.

Congratulations, Amanda!

Don't worry about how far it is to goal ... you WILL get there, one pound and one day at a time.

Wow Amanda, that is incredible. You are doing so well.
We are all so proud that you have done everything in your power to make this work for you.
Keep up the good work and try not to think about how much more you have until goal. 61 pounds in 11 weeks is amazing!

Wow, no matter how exciting the scale is...there is just something about being able to fit into those old jeans. I about cried when i read your post. I know that feeling of fitting into those old jeans. Its kind of like a confirmation to what the scale is saying. Scales can be so finicky...but a pair of jeans wont lie. BIG CONGRATS!
