Well, the oldies will remember, but I just wanted to pop in and tell everyone I went to my doctor appoint for the pregnancy today. I saw a heartbeat! And another! Natural twins! I don't want to hear anything about how hard it will be, because it is just such a blessing I want to enjoy it before the work starts I feel like I am getting the miscarried baby back in a way, and it is so great to see God's plan at work like that. Anyway, when I come back to these boards I may be a jillion pounds I will definitely have a jillion stretch marks
You may have a jillion pounds, and a jillion stretch marks, but it will be way worth it. So glad to see you post. Hope you have a happy, healthy and blessed pregnancy. As for how hard it will be, you sound so ready that any extra work will be a blessing, I'm sure.
Congrats!!!
I'm the mommy of 8 month old twin boys, and it is a blessing, trust me. I believe the hardest part was actually being pregnant. Afterwards, there is a lot of adjusting to do, things generally take an exta 20 minutes longer than normal, but it's really not as bad as everyone tells you.
Mine are also natural twins, and I also had a miscarriage with my 1st pregnancy, so I felt the same, like it was God's way of making up for it.
Speaking from experience, just make sure to take very good care of yourself while you are carrying twins. rest ALOT, those babies are really gonna wear you out while they are growing!!!!
If you ever need to talk, or need advice, (I went through just about EVERYTHING with that pregnancy!) feel free to PM me. I'd love to help.
Take Care, and Congrats!!!!
Mary--oh how exciting!! All babies are hard work but you'll also have twice the fun and LOVE!!! That is just great news and I couldn't be happier for you (and Eric and Eli!!) Please keep us posted--and who cares if you gain, you are doing amazing work right now. Take care of yourself and get lots and lots of rest now--while you can. How thrilling!
