Wow, you guys rawk!!! Thanx for the welcome. It is so nice to be part of such an encouraging group. It is also nice to meet others that have succeeded in losing 100+ pounds. That is great!
So far. I have gotten up to work out 2 days in a row! Woohoo! Monday, I
attempted to do Kickbutt Steamin Cardio. Uh, word to the wise, Steamin Cardio is probably not a good workout to start with if you have been inactive for a while.
Today, I tried a little more toned down workout by Kathy Kaehler called Total Basic Fitness. It was pretty good. I did most of it. My girls woke up and so I had to stop. It was definitely more my speed.
In terms of eating, I am still working on that. I find it best to work on one thing at a time. So my main focus is getting into the habit of working out regularly. However, I am trying to make healthier food selections.
Okay, so those of you that volunteered and came out of lurkdom, I'm calling you out. CatrinaH & phoxiekat! I'd love for you guys to be part of the check-in! I have lost weight before and from past experience, it has helped so much to have others to check in with. The fact that we have quite a bit of weight to lose, we can really help each other through when times get tough. So, I would like to get started as soon as we can, please let me know what you are thinking! You can pm me if you like or post here.
