Default Berries & Snacks Anyone?

Hi out there! Anyone have any good snack ideas for induction? I realized I needed to prepare my food for work -- I work long hours and my downfall in the past has been running to the vending machines to get something to tide me over...ick!

On induction I read to stay away from berries but I've spoken with others who say they ate some in moderation and it was ok. Would love to hear anyone's input on this and any suggestions for easy to take snacks.

Thanks all and I hope you are all doing well!!!

I didn't eat berries during my induction but I am now, they have the lowest carb count of the fruits, but during induction I wouldn't eat them. Here are some snack choices for getting started:

String cheese or slices
Beef sticks
Cold cuts with a slice of cheese-rolled up
cottage cheese
pork rinds (I don't like them, some do though)
veggies with dill or cheese dip
flavored water (look for Splenda ones)
hotdog dipped in catsup
chicken strips

Make sure whatever you are eating has no added sugar or flour.

Good ideas Idealperson -

How about, pepperoni slices or cream cheese on celery. I am not a meat eater so I stick with the latter or string cheese, or hard boiled eggs.

oh a snack for if you feel like something sweet -

heavy cream whipped with a touch of vanilla and slight bit of splenda.
once your off induction you can add some sugar free cocoa mix and you'll have chocolate mousse. A small amount fills you up so the carbs are pretty slim.

Some of the snacks that I have been eating during induction are string cheese, cucumbers, olives (20), cold cuts, peperoni slices, vienna sausage and sometimes boiled eggs.
