Default 12 lbs in 4 weeks... up for it?!

Hi all..
Ive set myself a goal of 12 lbs loss in the next 4 weeks as im going on holiday... eek!
If anybody wants to join me then please post here or message me.
Im not following a particular diet, just eating healthily, lots of stir fries and lean meat etc.. but i do somedays use ww points system.. I dont go to the gym regularly at the moment but im going to get a month membership to help get rid of these 12 lbs!
It should be easy with a bit of willpower and determination.. its 3 lbs a week... easy!!!
If theres anybody whos got a bit of a competitive streak then lets make it into a challenge! If not, then thanks for reading this far anyway hehe!

I AM SO UP FOR IT!!!! I've been waiting for a challenge like this since I got on my plateau. I have a doctors appointment in a month and I want him to be really surprised. If I lose 12 lbs my BMI will be in the normal range and it has never ever been there. ever. Well maybe when I was born, but that doesn't count. Anyway, I'm rambling. I hope I succeed and I hope all of you succeed also.

12 in 4 weeks is quite hard. I've lost 11 in 3 but that's because I have soooooo much to lose. I don't want anyone feeling bad if they don't make it.

Good luck everyone! I won't be joining you as I've been going since July now and despite all the exercise and careful attention to diet, I haven't lost 12lb in 6 months let alone 4 weeks! As veggie says, I wouldn't be disappointed if you don't make it - it's a steep goal. Doable if you're starting out, definitely - and also if you have a fair bit to lose. But don't feel bad if you don't quite get there - even 1lb is good! (I just remembered I should say I have PCOS so have to revise my goals down massively from that of 'normal' women!)

Will cheer you all on, though!

I know its a tough goal... but i'm setting my goals high from now on!!
Ive been slacking lately and i need to 'just do it' !!
3 lbs a week is a lot... but even if i only lost say, 6 lbs this month, then id still be happy, so i wont be too disappointed..

So for the challenge... any tips, support, anything related can be posted in here... along with weekly weigh ins..

Good luck! x

Hiya,
I'd like to join you all if i am not too late. I would feel so much better for losing 12 pounds, or even 7 but aim for the moon and if you miss you land in the starts and all that.
Time to dust off my gym membership, and get going!

My point is to not get to upset if i dont make the target. FOr me this twelve pound target is the last bit i need to loose - therefore im expecting it to take months - still with a bit of wishful thinking i might get there.

Well i hope you can do it...

Here's a tip for you all...

I had a smoothie for brekkie today, i think it was made by simple... its all natural fruit ingredients and it contained the full 5 a day... it really filled me up and contained around 50 kcals and 0.1 saturated fat.
If you need more at brekkie time you could have with cereal or something and it would really fill you up.

Of course your not to late to join... join anytime.
Lets say the 4 weeks starts officially from the 3rd July...
Thats today... LETS GO!!

I dont have a recipie for the smoothie.. I bought it from a shop.
I thought it was made by simple but its not its an innocent smoothie... the one i had was an innocent vitamin c super smoothie, it contained:

2 pressed apples
1/2 mashed banana
113 crushed blackcurrants
7 acerola cherries
some freshly squeezed orange juice
2 rosehips

I think i was wrong about the amount of kcals tho..
