Default GET OFF THE COUCH AND MOVE thread

Okay, we have a food thread, now we need an exercise thread. What are you doing today for exercise? Doesn't have to be complicated, just get off the couch, get away from the tv/computer and move your duff!

Good morning! I played tennis last night, and today looks to be busy, but I plan on getting a 1/2 hour walk in later, and doing some lunges & squats...I have a resistance band & tommorrow plan on doing curls & tricep extensions.

Did you exercise, Jen? I hope so!

I took the dog that I'm sitting for a 2 mile job and 0.5 mile walk. We had a good time. Plus, the weather has cooled down (I think it was only 85 today..lol)

Yep, I did a 20 minute ride on the exercise bike, not much but better than nothing. My butt was killing me after that much time so I decided not to push it or I wouldn't feel like riding today.

Well...having the day off definitely has its healthy benefits! I walked the dog for 2 miles this morning, I also just went out and had a blast. I jogged/walked 5 miles. What I did was run for the length of one song on my MP3 player and then I walked for the length of the next song. I did that for the entire 5 miles. It was fun, but I shouldn't have done it during the middle of the day. Doing the 5 miles only took me 62 minutes!!

Neverhadabarbie---good for you!!!! I missed your post yesterday somehow!

I think 20 minutes on an exercise bike is pretty good, Jen. Those always make my legs tired.

Hi all. I walked a lot today, not like a fast walk but still walking more than I would any other day. I would guess probably 2-3 miles at least. My feet were very sore afterwards.

Good job on the walk/run Steph!

Good job, Misty. I did great yesterday. I jogged 2 miles then came home and did the Frim Cardio Blast (I think that's what it's called). It's about a 55 minute video. Probably no exercise for me today though, unless I start feeling better.

Wow, great job with your exercise Steph! I did 25 minutes on the excercise bike yesterday. I am aiming for the same today or 30 minutes if I can manage it.
