Default Dieting and Chron's?

Any chicks out there have UC or Chron's and have advise for changing diet habits? I was on a great track back in February before I got sick, and since then I've gained 30 pounds because of the meds I'm taking.

I'm finally off the Prednisone, but I'm dealing with exhaustion, and have to be concerned about malnutrition and what I can and can't eat.

Anybody have any advice?

Heather

This is a little late, but I have some friends who have done really well following an Atkins style diet for Crohns. There seems to be some kind of connection between celiacs and Crohns, and removing bread, glutens and especially wheat seems to help.
