Plan for a nearly perfect day ... Saturday
Let's start with several hours to think about it ... shop ... pack things up ... review our schedules ...
What are you going to eat for breakfast? Do you have a nutritious snack for midmorning? What about lunch? And something healthy for the afternoon? Supper? What if you get the munchies later in the evening?
Are you going to get up early and go to the gym? Will you walk at lunch? Do you have a family outing planned? How about a nice evening bike ride? Can you run up and down the steps twice for every load of laundry?
Think about it today. Plan for tomorrow. Imagine the sense of accomplishment you'll feel when you fall into bed tomorrow night, having made a healthy plan and stuck to it.

I always run out of stuff on Friday (fruit, yogurt, bread). I kind of plan grocery trips for Mon-Fri and then Fri night - Sunday. Too hard for me to keep produce for 7 days!

Saturday Plan
What are you going to eat for breakfast? Probably an egg/spinach frittata.
Do you have a nutritious snack for midmorning? Fruit
What about lunch? Pasta with vegetables
And something healthy for the afternoon? Vegetable salad
Supper? Undecided yet ... perhaps eating dinner out, otherwise maybe salmon
What if you get the munchies later in the evening? Popcorn (100-cal pack), or yogurt
Are you going to get up early and go to the gym? No gym membership
Will you walk at lunch? My iPod died 2 weeks ago and I haven't walked since! Might need to call a friend.
Do you have a family outing planned? No - it's my "weekend off"
How about a nice evening bike ride? That is very possible
Can you run up and down the steps twice for every load of laundry? I sure can do that!

Today I'll run 6 miles at marathon pace, breakfast will be fruity porridge. Lunch is a lowish fat bean soup with bread, strawberries and cream as a snack with a nut roast and asparagus salad this evening. I'll try to make up some broad bean and ricotta dip as I've got some celery and peppers I can dip in it. I'll try to get some jobs done round the house and put some fat clothes on ebay, I might have a little wine later but not too much because I don't want a hangover in the morning...

Ok I've had a chance to think a little ....
Breakfast will be oatmeal and egg whites.
I'll bike this morning.
Salad and salmon for lunch.
A nap ... very important. I haven't worked nights in months and have never done a 12 hour!
Supper can be turkey breast and salad.
If I'm antsy somewhere in there I'll do chest and triceps.
Into my kitbag for work will go crunchy vegetables for sure, Ilene's pancake would be a good idea, lots of diet coke, gum ... boy 12 hours is a long time ... hmmm
