chicken, black beans, salsa, and cream cheese--sort of a chicken chili type deal in the crock pot (550)
All together, should still be well under 1900 calories, so not too bad, considering I could even still add a yogurt if I need it (80 cals) after work, before dinner.
Hi guys. Well today was not the best day in the world for me, I didn't make it to the gym and I had two small pieces of pizza for dinner. But tomorrow is a new day and I'll get back up and keep marching along .
Breakfast -
Starbucks Latte
Oatmeal
Lunch -
salad
Dinner -
2 small slices of roasted garlic chicken pizza
salad
snack -
jello pudding snack
32oz water
1 dr. pepper
ice tea
I didn't make it to gym today, but I am going tomorrow. Have a great night everyone.
Mindy, your day was still better than mine! Judging by what you had the rest of your day yesterday, even with those 2 pieces of pizza, I bet you were well within a good calorie range
I, on the other hand, strayed from my plan (which already included 2 pieces of pizza for breakfast) and had:
about 1 cup potato salad
2 slices stuffed crust pineapple pizza
PBJ sandwich
3 slices provolone cheese
probably about 3 servings onion SunChips
12" Subway chicken teriyaki on honey oat (I tried to be better and get 2 small wraps instead of bread, but they were out of wraps )
3 Subway cookies
fudgesicle
yogurt
pineapple chunks
So, nothing super-fatty or anything, but still just too much (came to over 3700 calories ). Moving on to today's plan:
yogurt (80)
ham, turkey, and Swiss sandwich (195)
SmartOnes chicken meal (140)
fudgesicle (40)
chicken marinated in honey dijon sauce with chopped spinach and broccoli (545)
Totaly of 1000 calories. I had over 3 liters of water yesterday--I'll try to do that again today (I usually only aim for 2 + any diet soda).
Today started out crappy but is going a little better. Maybe I should change my username to SuchALittleCookieMonster?
today:
1 sugar cookie
1 snickerdoodle
^^mom got them at old world wisconsin. sugar cookie was worth it, snickerdoodle was not good.
1 slice plum tomato-cheese pizza
1 lean cuisine mac & cheese meal
2 cups grilled vegetables, reheated in microwave
1 order pesto cavatappi from Noodles and Company. I added tofu & spinach. YUM! The sodium at this place is though. I was looking at all of the meals' nutrition info, and some of them are over 50% of your RDA for sodium.
320 ounces water
I did not eat anything after this yesterday!!!! So proud of myself!!!

Forget the pineapple pizza Jill you have me craving fudgesicles , and SuchAPrettyFace you have me thinking of sugar cookies and how much I love them . Thank you both for your support and words of encouragment .
Well I did make it to the gym today, which was nice and made me feel better about myself., and I feel that I did better with food today too
Let's see today I had:
Oatmeal w/ a little bit of honey and Peanut Butter
Salad
6 chicken cubes
Chicken and rice with salad
Skinny cow chocolate/peanut butter ice cream sandwich
here's were I didn't do so well
2 sunkist sodas
32 oz. water
ice tea
So, it was still a good day and I got the gym in there so all is not lost. I'll see you guys tomorrow - Mindy
Wow, call the record books--I actually stayed almost completely on plan yesterday! I added a second fudgesicle and some sunflower seeds, but I still ended the day at less than 1300 calories Not that that's how low I want to be every day, but I needed that after all the times I've ended up going waaaay higher than expected lately
On to Wednesday:
yogurt (80)
instant oatmeal (130)
SmartOnes (140)
PBJ sandwich (180)
chicken w/broccoli coleslaw mix and teriyaki sauce (450)
fudgesicle (40)
Total of 1020 calories for the day. Ooh, and it's 5:45am and I'm already halfway through my first liter of water
Ugh, unfortunately, SAPF, the sodium out at any restaurant is pretty much astronomical. You're lucky it's only 50% of the RDA--when I worked at Ruby Tuesday, there werre plenty of options with well over 2000mg, and some even over 3000
Sorry if I'm causing any cravings I don't normally go crazy much for chocolate, but I am LOVIN' these fudgesicles--only 40 calories a piece, and they take a bit of time to eat, so even though they're not exactly filling, they're perfect for those times when you're not really hungry but just need to eat something, ya know
