Thanks Denise. I just saw your message on the sports bra post before this one and have replied saying Good Luck too.

I shall be there in sequins and pink feathers. When I tell people what we're doing the usual response goes: a marathon? At midnight? In a push up bra? With sequins and feathers? But then they usually give me money!! I've raised over £500 for the charity

Have a great time tomorrow.

Thumbs up Good Luck Clareh & Denise

Hope you have a wonderful time! Please let us all know how things go!

Take care of yourselves, and be safe. You both deserve medals just for the work that you have put into this so far.

My thoughts will be with you both.

See you when you back.

Default Update- squeamish do not read...

Just when everything was going to plan.... my little toenail has chosen today to break off and the toe is quite sore.

Do any of you runners (or anyone else) have any helpful suggestions? I'm takin plaster etc.. and keeping off my feet until tomorrow night where possible.

Good luck to both of you! I'm sorry I don't have any tips on the toenail though, staying off your feet as much as possible is probably a good idea, but I don't know beyond that.

Clareh - try to get plasters that are made for blisters cause they have extra cushion in them. I know there are some new ones on the market but darn i cant remember the name! Im sure boots / your local chemist should have them.

Good luck!

Thanks for the tips about the toe. I'm not going to let a bit of soreness stop me

Just getting a bit nervous now
