Cheryl, I LOVE your catchy intro! I'm so happy you volunteered to take over!
How are things? Remember I am sending good vibes and wishing only the best for you!

I push mowed/sprayed for bugs/sprayed weeds at our house and my moms today. 5 hours straight of yard work, makes this old body feel even older! LOL! I started the day off getting Ali to school, then going to my mom's, doing her meds and cutting her hair. Boy, I love my days off... LOL!

I did have an interesting story to share. As I was mowing and elderly lady drove into our drive. She was lost and to make a long story short, she was 40 miles from home and going the wrong direction! She had drove over to our walmart and lost her way home. I considered taking her up to the highway which would lead her home but I felt very uncomfortable doing so. After visiting with her, she seemed confused and I was really worried. I called the Sheriff's office and an escort arrived to take her home. After visiting with her, I found out she was 80 years old, a retired nun, a paralyzed leg and had only lived in the area 5 years. She has no family around here. I plan to call her later to make sure she arrived home safe & sound.

Sending LOSING FLOOZIE vibes out today!

LOVE YA!!!

Yeah, Gayle, I got tired of cutting and pasting. Actually, I didn't even realize I was typing a "new" intro until I was almost at the end of it. Then I thought, "Wait a minute--I didn't have to type all of that!" Of course, by then I'd already typed it!!!!!

Your nun story is so sad. I'm always afraid that one of my parents will be in a position like that someday. Before my dad was diagnosed w/colon cancer he would forget while he was while driving. One time he got lost about 25-30 miles from home. It's really scary. I'm proud of you for calling the sherrif and also for getting her number to check on her later.

Gayle-That is so sweet of you to call the lady. I, too am worried that my parents will be that way soon. I think my dad would rather die than not drive. It's very scary.

My weight is up to 131!! I need to go hard Core. I just can't get into journaling again. I think I might begin Core tomorrow. Yes, I do run many miles, but I think I make up for them quickly. I earn only 10-15 points for the day on Sat and Sun. I think I ate more in pecans! Well, they are gone now, so I don't need to worry about them. I have also been buying sherbert and eating a coffee cup full (packed in) per night. I just think everything is really adding up.

Gotta get moving to work!!

Shelley I know how you feel, I am up to 132. I don't like it and I feel panic. I decided I needed to get off of sweets. That is what is doing it and all the birthday cake and mother's day cake and on and on..... I am journaling most of the time but I am still eating sweets. I think that the one mistake I realized I made is that I started having an almond butter granola bar in the afternoon with my coffee. Well it triggered my sweet monster. It just built up. Now I have to quite that.
Find out your trigger Shelley and get rid of it and journal

Cheryl thanks for the lovely new openning for us. You are doing a great job. Very inviting.

Gayle you are just too sweet. Last week it was an owl you found this week it was a little old lady. What will next week bring? Maybe a lost Chip n Dale. I am sure that you would find a way to rescue them.

Dee, Gayle is a happily married woman. She definately doesn't need to rescue a chip n dale. I, on the other hand, could come to the rescue (over and over again, if necessary!)

Good afternoon everyone!

Gayle ~ Good thinking on calling the sheriff to escort that lady home! Without any family around she may have wandered for quite some time before she was missed...no telling what might have happened!

Shelley and Dee ~ I'm another one who needs to back away from the sweets! I ate a lot of desserts while Travis was home and that was enough to start the sugar habit again. It's time for us all to get serious and get off the sugar again!

Cheryl ~ You're a riot! I'm glad to see that you still have your sense of humor!

Gayle-Where the heck did you find him?

I backed into a lady's car today in the Walmart parking lot. Boy, was she mad at me. She had been hit 4 times in the same lot. She cussed like a sailor at me when I got out of my car. I probably did about $400.00 worth of damage to her car. I swear, I really did look in back of me. I didn't use the mirrors--I always check over my shoulders. Anyway, just what we need right now. When it rains, it pours. Of course, I am too dumb to even think to take a picture with my phone.

I don't care how many times the lady has been hit, you do not deserve being cussed at Shelley. Maybe she was driving through the lot to quickly, that could explain why you didn't see her AND her other 3 accidents there. Did you do a police report? I know usually in a parking lot, a police report is not needed but they will do one for you for insurance purposes. They may just consider it no fault and then you wouldn't need to worry about your insurance going up. Yes, I agree! When it rains, it pours and I know you feel like your drowning in a flood of problems right now, but it will get better! Keep the faith and know I am here for you!
How about if I send my little Chip & Dale guy over to rough the ol' gal up a bit???? LOL!

Cheryle knotty you checking out his pouch....

Shelley aww I feel so bad for you having to put up with that lady's verbal abuse and now the expense of fixing the car.

Suzy we are going to have to stick together and keep this sweet monster away. I need encouragement. I will be here for you.
