Question Here we go--starting tomorrow

Ok, well, here we go. I'm jumping back on the Atkins wagon. After months of playing with WW and jenny craig, i have decided to go ahead and try the low carb thing. i know it works for me, i'd done it years ago and i'm tired of spending $$ for something i know i can do on my own.
SO. Starting induction tomorrow. anyone else? anyone have any tips?

I can relate. I went off atkins and thought I would try weight watchers points on my own. Carbs and cravings and repeat.... I can eat anything as long as I have the points.... Yummyyyyyy....
Anyway, at the very least with Atkins I'm not starving at the end of the day and out of points. I'm not doing induction anymore, but just wanted to welcome you to the group and wish you all the best.

HI!
I tried weight watchers too, but I was always staaaaarving! I had done atkins a while before that and it was the only thing that worked (til I went off it and went carb crazy!)

I am on my 3rd day of induction, and things are going smoothly, I am never hungry and I eat till I'm full. I think it feels a bit indulgent because of the foods you are allowed to eat it doesn't feel like you're restricting, or denying yourself of good tasting food!

Good luck!

I'm on day 2 of my restart induction . The frist time didn't go so well , but now I know my body a little better and what to stay away from so I'm very hopeful it will work better for me this time.

I agree with Rockgirl, I sometimes feel indulgent in the food allowed on Atkins. I had tried pretty much every other diet and wasn't able to stick to them. For me, this has pretty been easy to live with. I get plenty of food and the weight has come off easy enough to stay inspired. Good luck on your journey with Atkins. It really is a doable plan and one that I personally will use for life.
