I did 20 min of excercise today. My plan is to get 10k steps in even though we have a snow day and I'm not going to work. I would also like to cook homemade soup for dinner and only eat ONE serving of the chocolate my husband bought me. At least 60oz of WATER. So far I'm at 30oz. I don't do as well with mini meals and plans when I'm not having a structured day at work.

okay, here goes....

B- 2 fried eggs, one bannana, 2 ounce oj
s- honey roasted soynuts
L- 6 oz chicken breast, half cup sweet peas, half cup carrots
s- apple
D- taco bake

tonight is also gym night. so my goal is 20 minutes on the elliptical and 30 minutes on upper body weights and try the two thigh machines again without killing my inner thighs this time. (hahaha. over did it the first night)

If it is not toooo cold outside, i'll try to walk one or two miles at lunch and maybe add a little jogging into it. but right now it is like 45 degrees outside.

B - Instant oatmeal, medium banana, green tea.
s - Tangerine.
L - Green salad with grape tomatoes and 1/2 can chunk tuna (packed in water, drained).
s - Lemon water; 25 g of light chedder; 2 graham wafers.
D - Rigatoni with tomato sauce, veggies and light ricotta.

This morning, after writing my menu and shopping list, I wheeled my cart to three different local stores - the discount store to buy 8 cans of pea soup on sale; a produce store for fresh fruits and veggies and a general grocery store for the rest - including another 10 cans of different types of beans on sale! Then I pushed my fully loaded cart back home, carried all those groceries up a flight of stairs and put them away. Whew! That's my morning exercise.

Afternoon exercise is stripping the beds and doing laundry. Two flights of stairs from the bedrooms to the laundry room.

Wow, I think 1 packet of instant oatmeal is usually not enough for me...I don't know how you have just 1/2 of one for breakfast!

My plan for today:
  • 1 cup granola cereal w/1 cup skim milk
  • 2 small wraps (whole wheat tortillas, ff sour cream, spinach, and sliced turkey)
  • leftover pasta (whole-wheat rotini) w/homemade sauce (no-salt-added tomato sauce, tomato paste, diced tomatoes, turkey sausage, and seasonings) and about 1/4 cup Italian blend shredded cheese
I had originally also planned a Campbell's Soup at Hand thing of chicken n' stars soup, but I already had lunch and am not thinking I'll be eating that, so without the soup, I come to 991 calories for the day

I wonder if I still have this cut and paste in my computer mouse ...... A new week ... hmmm. I'm a bit messed around. I just finished my 3rd of 4 weekends in a row (one more to go starting Thurs). Four or five shifts over the weekend, ya know. Everybody does the TGIF thing and was grouchy this morning because it was Monday. I feel like I live in the twilight zone.
I also feel like I need an abrupt halt, regather and restart. I just feel messed up!
I'm going to clean up my kitchen, get fabulous food out for supper and go have a nap. Then when I get up, I'm going to pretend it's a new day and go good.
Did you all read Ilene's post called are you lifting heavy enough? I think between that and my uber-supper ... I'll be off to the races!

Yup, I do! Thanks for the encouragement CuteJuneBug. I've pretty badly gotten into the habit of having waaaaay more bad days than good. It's time to reboot. I'll get for that nap yet.

Okay, I really need to go grocery shopping. I'm feeling a little "hung over" after my three 12 hour shifts, and don't seem to have an appetite.

So far today:

brunch: Avocado (with onion, lemon, garlic, salt) and 2 celery stalks.
Linner (or is it dunch?): two garden burger patties and some broccoli
Dinner: maybe Subway
