Hello ladies,

I am one of the mods here at 3FC, over in the Support and General Diet Plans sections, respectively.
I just found out that I am expecting my third child on Christmas day. I hope to bring some more action here to the pregnancy and nursing section, and hopefully watch over it and the content a little bit during my stay.

To let you all know a little more about me, I am a married mother of two older kids, a 7 year old girl, and a 4 year old boy. I am a costume maker and a professional belly dancer.
I lost a lot of weight after my daughter was born, and then after my son, through diet and exercise-and it seems like every time I get close to goal, I get pregnant AGAIN. This is my LAST child.
I would like to get a few new threads started here in this area, and can't wait to get to know you all.

Congratulations, what a great gift! I almost got to tell my husband I was pregnant with our second for his birthday, but the car broke down & I wasn't able to test. Blew my one good idea for telling him.

Aphil: Congrats! I also was pretty much back at goal when I found out I was pg, however, I think being at or near goal just helps our bodies work better and that includes fertility


Finding out on Christmas day must have been a great present, I used Christmas Day as a comfort since I was officially 3 months pregnant that day!

No, I didn't wrap up the test. I found out on Christmas evening, at about 9pm-I just told him to go look at the results.

Congrats. Do you have any special plans for this pregnancy diet and exercise wise? Do you tend to have morning sickness with your pregnancies? You have made so much progres..very encouraging, I bet..and there is no reason why you cant maintain that health throughout pregnancy..and share how you do it please! I read that you have had large babies.. my babies have been large also. (10+ for #3, (UC so we didn't weigh right away), and #4 was 11 pounds (No, I didn't have gestational diabetes..just my babies getting larger as my uterus stretches with each pregnancy, I guess). I am nursing, but really hoping to get in shape before any further pregnancies.. since we both have to be sensible on how we do things I am looking forward to more threads in this forum.

Congrats Aphil, what a wonderful Christmas gift! I look forward to reading your posts. I remember reading them on other threads and you always have great ideas and advice. To a happy and healthy 9 months!
