Mornin ladies

Bit crazy here and bit of a crazy weekend. I have Friday off and then a week after that off, so I am seriously just counting down the days. It is good to hear from you all, any plans this week? Next week? Everyone 75% ready for XMas?

good afternoon gang!

I made the cookies on Saturday - I loved them! and they went fast at our family get togethers. None of my guys even tried them bec they like sweet cookies, and no fruit in theirs but I knew that before I made them. Thanks for the recipe Liz - yum!

Leenie - adding vanilla sounds like a good idea.

Tippy - thanks so much for the recipe! Man I would be dangerous with 10 cups of nuts fixed like this around the house

Liz - I hope you get some rest tonight.

Mararin - I hope you get to feeling better!

Miles - I'm ready for Christmas. I'm trying to stay out of the stores so that I don't spend any more money.

Welcome Suzanne!

Busy at work today and lots to do everywhere I go. Tis the season.

hope everybody has a blessed day!

hugs,
cathy

I don't put fruit in them....just a little piece on the top so not too plain looking.

Glad you liked them

Gotta run!

I put a piece of candied cherry in the middle of mine. I thought that's what the recipe said to do It was really good - it's just that my guy's don't like that kind of stuff in cookies - especially cherries - they are just funny that way I knew I wasn't making them for them when I made them
hugs!
