Talking Yay! I exercised today!

New thread for the month...

I don't know about anyone else but I am determined to increase my exercise this month - cold weather or not!

Today I went for a 40 minute walk at lunch time

Great job! Do you bundle up with mittens and everything? I don't realte to cold much...in Southern Cali it's pretty warm even in Winter!

I did 1 hour of yoga and will be doing 30 minutes on the treadmill later today; maybe I'll even lift some weights but I'm not sure. I am trying to have more realistic with my goals and am promising on the low end so if I do more, it's a bonus and if I don't I am still a success!

Good going exercisers!

Yogini -Oh yeah! It is not so bad today - about 7 Celcius. This morning was -1C with the wind chill factor so I had my tights on with knee high boots, faux leather jacket, light scarf and gloves.

You really have to bundle up in the winter here as the temperature can get below -40C with the wind -BRRR! (Not as cold as Yellowknife etc. but still bloody cold!)

I am going to make an attempt to go skating and toboganning this winter.

Wednesday: 1 hour biking, 30 minute walk

My back has been bugging me this week. It hasn't totally collapsed on me, it just spasms on and off and aches. I took the bus today to see if a day off the bike will help. I'm still planning on walking at lunch and hitting the pool tonight. Grrr, I hate it when my body doesn't cooperate with the program :/

Hannah

OMG <whisper> It's sunny outside!</whisper> gotta go take the dog for a walk before it starts pouring again. It's shaping up to be a traditional NW fall around here, after being really dry the last couple of years.
