Hi everyone. I've been on 3fc for about a month and just found the 100lb club. Although I'd probably be better off in a 150lb club. If you've seen my posts before (and there have been many) I don't wanna bore you to tears.
I posted my profile yesterday so you can all take a look at that if you want to.
I just really wanted to say hi and that I'd love to get to know you all.
I'm 2 1/2 weeks shy of my 43rd birthday and need to lose a lot of weight. I know this is crazy but this is the first time I've seriously attempted weight loss since my early 20's. Started putting on a huge amount of weight (150 lbs) after I got married some 20 years ago, and now just seriously decided to get rid of it, hahaha as if it's just like getting rid of yesterday's trash.
Anyway, I am doing very well with the food aspect of my weightloss journey but am pretty much sucking at the exercise part. I have a very sedentary lifestyle. At this point I have a lot of pain in my knees which makes everything very difficult. Anybody got any ideas on how to get myself motivated to exercise and what exercises have you done as a beginner? Any input would be appreciated.
Looking forward to getting to know you all better.

to the board! Post often so we can get to know you.

This site is the best for support that I've found! I feel a lot like you too. I'll be 43 next March, and last year I did LA Weightloss and lost 40 pounds, but after my hysterectomy, I just got lazy and gave up. I have never really got into a weight loss plan and stuck with it before that, and I have been losing and gaining the same pounds over and over.
